  • Patent number: 6640798
Abstract: A food chafer with a releasably lockable rolltop is provided. The chafer structure includes a framework for supporting a water pan which in turn supports a food pan therein. The rolltop is rotatably mounted to the framework with a lock mechanism. The rolltop is releasably lockable in a partially open position which allows access to food in the food pan. The rolltop is movable from the partially open position in a direction toward a closed position or in a direction toward a fully open position simply by application of force in the desired direction of movement. The working parts of the lock mechanism are completely self-contained so that no manipulation of external parts to lock or unlock the rolltop is required.

  • Patent number: 6450373
Abstract: A piston displacement condiment pump for pumping viscous fluids, especially condiments such as ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, relish, sauces and the like, is disclosed. The pump is constructed mostly of stainless steel and includes an inflow chamber with a check ball valve, an outflow chamber with a another check ball valve, and a spout. The pump includes an optional method for limiting the amount of condiment delivered with each stroke of the pump. The spout is held in place with a unique pin and L-slot arrangement, and by the unique position of the outflow chamber in relation to the cover. The spring and inflow check ball is attached to the piston and the outflow check ball is attached to the spring wire clip. The novel spring wire clip restrains the check ball valve in the outflow chamber.

  • Patent number: 5806864
Abstract: A foldable or collapsible utility cart which may be alternated between a closed and an open, operable position is disclosed. The invention includes four vertical legs with a plurality of shelves mounted thereon. The shelves are rotatable relative to the legs and foldable about a middle thereof so that the cart may be alternated between the open operable position and the closed position for storage purposes. The cart is self-supporting and thus includes a stabilizing means. The stabilizing means automatically locks, or stabilizes the cart in the open position. The cart is stabilized simultaneously upon reaching the open position from the closed position.

  • Patent number: 5676276
Abstract: A buffet table food pan having a pair of side walls and a pair of end walls extending upwardly from a bottom panel. A top flange extends outwardly from the walls. The flange is in sealing engagement with the buffet table when it is placed therein. The flange has a notch defined at each end, so that a space is defined between the flange and the table. The space defines a ledge which can be grabbed, or under which utensils can be placed for the purpose of lifting the pan or removing the pan from the table.
