    Abstract: A cathodic protection test station device has a terminal board integrally formed with a base plate. A removable housing locks onto the base plate and covers the terminal board and the base plate. A tab formed in the base plate extends into a recess formed in the housing defining a locking position. A tool may be inserted in an access slot formed in the housing to deflect the tab and remove the housing. A plurality of first wedge members are symmetrically disposed on a bottom surface of the base plate. The first wedge members have an inclined surface that slidably engages an inclined surface of a plurality of second wedge members. A bolt extends through the base plate and the first and second wedge members to a nut held in a non-rotating manner in the second wedge member. As the bolt rotates, the nut moves towards a head of the bolt and urges the first and second wedge members axially together.

    Abstract: A channel structure for housing electrical wires and supporting glarefoil blades along a median barrier of a divided highway or other roadway. An elongate composite channel structure defines an interior channel and a flat exterior top support surface. The composite channel is attachable to the top of a median barrier to cover electrical streetlamp wiring extending along the top of the barrier. A series of glarefoil blades are attachable directly and individually to the flat top support surface so that the support surface is the only object which provides structural, stabilizing support for each of the glarefoil blades.

    Abstract: An asphalt pavement material comprising an aggregate mixture of asphalt, gravel, sand and a pelletized composite of recycled rubber and thermoplastic material. The pelletized composite has a uniform size, smaller than the gravel and larger than the sand and is configured to fit within interstitial voids between the gravel. Sufficient pelletized composite is added to the asphalt pavement and mineral aggregate mixture (replacing mineral aggregate of comparable size) to substantially fill void spaces between the gravel.

    Abstract: A collapsible barricade comprising a rigid cross-member coupled by an elastic joint to at least one pair of rigid legs. The elastic joint is developed by a flexible, elastic, resilient connecting member which is attached at one end to the cross-member and at the other end to the rigid leg in a manner such that the formed elastic joint is capable of stretching under stress to allow the pair of legs and attached cross-member to deform from a sturdy configuration when subjected to an impact by a vehicle or other moving object. The collapsible barricade can then be restored to its sturdy condition by merely repositioning or reattaching the connecting members to the respective legs and cross-member and by repositioning the deformed structure to its original configuration.

    Abstract: A deformable, detachable base for supporting and stabilizing an attached vertical sign or delineator in upright orientation with respect to a ground or road surface to which the base may be affixed. The detachable base includes a deformable, domed structure comprised of a top, intermediate body wall and base attachment channel. The base attachment channel includes first and second channel walls, and a third radial flange which projects inward from the second channel wall toward a central axis of the domed structure. Accordingly, three (3) enclosing walls define a channel enclosure which is utilized to retain the domed structure in attachment to a rigid base plate. The base plate has a vertically oriented lip at its perifery which is adapted in size and configuration for a tight, contour fit within the channel enclosure.

The terminal support includes an elongated web structure (21) formed of nonconductive plastic material and including at least one longitudinal rib (17, 18, 19) integrally formed as part of the web structure. A hollow core (30, 31, 32) is formed within the longitudinal rib and provides a housing for conductive wire (37, 38) to be concealed therein. An opening in the longitudinal rib provides access to the core to enable physical contact (37a, 38a) for measurement of electrical properties as conducted from the underground pipe through the wire into the terminal support.

    Abstract: A road-surface mountable delineator support member constructed of resilient wall structure of flexible material whose structure is capable of maintaining an attached delineator in upright, operational orientation as a traffic guide and capable of surviving repeated vehicle impacts. The wall structure is sectionally comprised of an integrally formed neck, shoulder and larger collapsible body in which most of the vehicle impact forces are transferred to the larger collapsible body section which deforms in preference to deformation of an attached delineator structure.
