Patents Assigned to Chubu Electric Power Co., Ltd.
  • Patent number: 8460461
Abstract: The present invention provides an oriented substrate for forming an epitaxial thin film thereon, which has a more excellent orientation than that of a conventional one and a high strength, and a method for manufacturing the same. The present invention provides a clad textured metal substrate for forming the epitaxial thin film thereon, which includes a metallic layer and a silver layer bonded to at least one face of the metallic layer, wherein the silver layer has a {100}<001> cube texture in which a deviating angle ?? of crystal axes satisfies ???9 degree. The textured metal substrate can be manufactured by subjecting the silver sheet containing 30 to 200 ppm oxygen by concentration to the orienting treatment of hot-working and heat-treating, and bonding the metal sheet with the oriented silver sheet by using a surface activated bonding process.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a oriented substrate for forming an epitaxial thin film thereon, having a more excellent orientation than that of a conventional one and a high strength, and a method for manufacturing the same. The clad textured metal substrate includes a metallic layer and a copper layer bonded to at least one face of the above described metallic layer, wherein the above described copper layer has a {100}<001> cube texture in which a deviating angle ?? of crystal axes satisfies ???6 degree. The substrate has an intermediate layer on the surface of the copper layer, to form the epitaxial thin film thereon.

  • Patent number: 7107849
Abstract: A vibration source probe system for detecting the surface waves of vibration coming over the ground or the floor of a building and specifying and displaying a vibration source at a factory or on a road. The position of a vibration source is estimated from a phase difference or arrival time difference between vibrations of surface waves detected by the vibration sensors which are separated from each other by a predetermined distance, an image near the estimated position of the vibration source is picked up by a camera, and the estimated position of the vibration source is displayed on the image displayed on the display screen of a personal computer.

  • Patent number: 6208945
Abstract: Frequencies fx between the measurement harmonic (mth-degree harmonic) and the (m±1)th-degree harmonics are determined from an expression of fx=(fs*m)±{(fs/n)*k)} where n and k are each an integer. Currents of inter-harmonics of the frequencies fx above and below the measurement harmonic are injected into an inject point in a power system in n cycles of the fundamental wave. Voltage at the inject point based on the injected currents and currents at least either upstream or downstream from the inject point are measured. Admittances for the inter-harmonics above and below the measurement harmonic on at least either the upstream or downstream side from the harmonic inject point are calculated from the measurement results. Interpolation processing based on the calculation results is performed, thereby finding and determining an admittance for the measurement harmonic.

  • Patent number: 5305174
Abstract: An electrical power system protection device includes a circuit breaker and a switch connected in series to a power line. The protection device also has a current limiting element connected in parallel to the circuit breaker. When the level of electrical current flowing in the power line, detected by a current detector, has exceeded a predetermined first set level, a first over-current detector delivers immediately a trip command to the circuit breaker. As a consequence, fault current is commutated to the current limiting element so that any drop of voltage in the power line upstream of the circuit breaker is greatly suppressed. When a state in which a predetermined second set level is exceeded by the detected current level is continued beyond a predetermined period, a second over-current detector delivers an off command to the switch, thus protecting the upstream portion of the power line against the fault in this power line.
