Abstract: A yarn twisting device is simple in structure but capable of easily producing twisted yarn made of a plurality of yarn pieces twisted together. The yarn twisting device includes: a case; an operation wheel rotatably supported by the case so that an outer circumference of the operation wheel is partly exposed outside the case; and a plurality of yarn holding shafts supported by the case so as to protrude from one surface of the case and that axially rotate with the rotation of the operation wheel in the same direction.

Abstract: A knitting marker is configured to be suspended from a yarn of the knit piece being made or from the knitting needle being used in the knitting. The knitting marker includes a main body, which may be a generally flat strip, and a suspension connected to the main body. The suspension may be in the form of a hook or a ring, configured to be suspended from a yarn or a knitting needle. The knitting maker also includes an information bearer that is connected stably or loosely to the main body for carrying information presented by symbols such as letters, numerals, and figures.

Abstract: A pincushion includes an inner container, a cushioning material, a flexible sheet material, an elastic ring member and a cylindrical outer cover. The inner container has a bottom wall portion and a side wall portion standing upright from the bottom wall portion. The side wall portion has an opening at its upper part. The cushioning material is provided in the inner container. The sheet material covers part of the cushioning material that projects upward from the opening of the side wall portion. The ring member is fitted onto the side wall portion of the inner container with the hem of the sheet material interposed between the ring member and the side wall portion. The outer cover is fitted around the side wall portion of the inner container such that its inner face is in contact with the elastic ring member.

Abstract: A handicraft weaving loom with improved usability is provided. The weaving loom includes a main body having a pair of edge portions that are spaced apart from each other in a predetermined first direction. Each edge portion extends elongated in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The weaving loom further includes a yarn catch member provided with a yarn catch portion for holding threads in parallel. The yarn catch member is detachably attached to one of the two edge portions.

Abstract: An ornament holder includes a frame body and a presser plate attachable to the frame body. The frame body includes a plate-like portion and locking shafts extending upright from the first plate-like portion. The presser plate is formed with a hole into which the locking shafts are inserted for attaching the presser plate to the frame body. The locking shafts include horizontally protruding locking portions. The presser plate includes locked portions adjacent to the hole and configured to engage with the locking portions of the locking shafts The locking shafts are elastically deformable so as to approach each other when being inserted into the hole of the presser plate.

Abstract: A sewing tool holder includes a base and a plurality of of projections. The base has an obverse face and a reverse face spaced from each other in a thickness direction of the base. The plurality of projections are supported on the obverse face of the base via a common connecting portion attached to the base. Each of the plurality of projections has an upper or front end and a root or lower end that is connected to the common connecting portion.

Abstract: A bodkin includes first and second holding plates, an operation plate and an elongated bar member. The second holding plate overlaps with the first holding plate. The operation plate is rotatably supported by the first holding plate with a part of the second holding plate disposed between the first holding plate and the operation plate. The bar member is connected to the first holding plate so that the operation plate is operable independently of the bar member. Use of the operation plate enables the bodkin to selectively take an opened state and a closed state. In the opened state, the two holding plates are apart from each other, providing a gap into which an end of a string can be inserted. In the closed state, the two holding plates are brought closer to each other, thereby pinching the end of the string between them.

Abstract: A bead weaving tool includes a plate member having a planar bead mounting surface for bead placement. The plate member has a pair of thread holding portions mutually spaced across the bead mounting surface for holding a plurality of threads separately. The plate member also has a pair of thread support walls protruding from the bead mounting surface at positions close to the thread holding portions, respectively. To hook one end and the other end of the respective threads, first and second thread hanging portions are provided.

Abstract: A handicraft tool includes a first end, a second end and an intermediate portion. The first end and the second end are spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction of the handicraft tool. The intermediate portion is positioned between the first end and the second end. The intermediate portion is in the form of a bar having a cross section that is uniform along the longitudinal direction. At least the surface of the intermediate portion is made of a thermosetting elastomer.
