Abstract: A needle threader includes a flat handle portion and a thread-introducing loop portion extending from the handle portion. The thread-introducing loop portion includes a folded insertion edge at a tip for insertion into an eye of a needle. The thread-introducing loop portion includes a plate member having a first end, a second end, and a narrow band portion integrally connecting between the first and second ends. The narrow band portion has the folded insertion edge at a lengthwise center. The first end and the second end of the plate member are laid one on another and held in the handle portion. The narrow band portion is exposed from the handle portion to form the thread-introducing loop portion.
Abstract: A handicraft assisting tool is used for stitching a fabric having a first face and second face into a pouch. This handicraft assisting tool has a first plate and a second plate that collaborates with the first plate. The first plate has a plurality of rhombic unit pieces of the same size arranged in a row, and an inner face abutting on the first face of the fabric. The second plate has a plurality of rhombic unit pieces of the same size arranged in a row, and an inner face abutting on the second face of the fabric. Each of the unit pieces of the first and second plates is of the same size. The first plate and the second plate are each provided with folding operation instructions for folding these plates along a diagonal line of each unit piece and a borderline between adjacent unit pieces.
Abstract: A handicraft assisting tool for folding a fabric into a configuration having rotational symmetry is provided. The handicraft assisting tool includes a flexible sheet body adhered to the fabric and a folding facilitator formed at the sheet body. The folding facilitator facilitates an operation of folding an overlapped product, which is obtained by adhering the fabric to the sheet body, along a predetermined folding line. The folding facilitator includes, for example, a plurality of slits disposed along the predetermined folding line.
Abstract: A handicraft needle punch set includes a needle puncher, and an assisting tool used in performing needle punching to an object. The assisting tool includes a plurality of tubular template portions each having a desired sectional shape. The needle puncher includes a plurality of needles, a grip member supporting the needles in a manner allowing the tips of the needles to protrude to the outside, and a tubular attachment member detachably attached to the grip member. The tubular attachment member is configured to surround the needles in a noncontact manner and have a contact end portion coming into contact with the upper portions of the tubular template portions.
Abstract: A handicraft work assisting device includes an elongated main body and a push bar. The main body includes a tubular portion formed with a through-hole extending in the longitudinal direction of the tubular portion. The push bar is insertable into the through-hole. The main body further includes a flange that is provided at an end of the tubular portion. The flange is provided with a groove portion extending in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.
Abstract: A handicraft clip is provided for forming a pleat in a cloth. The clip includes a relatively wide base plate and a narrower fastening plate connected to the base plate via a connecting hinge portion having a reduced thickness for allowing pivotal movement of the fastening plate relative to the base plate. The base plate is formed with a generally elliptical through-hole, while the fastening plate is provided with a locking protrusion to be fitted into the through-hole of the base plate when the base plate and the fastening plate are superposed on each other. The fastening plate includes a cloth holding portion of -a generally constant width. The cloth holding portion is formed with a slit for insertion of a cloth. The slit extends from the distal end of the cloth holding portion toward the locking protrusion.
