Abstract: There is provided an assist tool for chopsticks comprising: an adapter which couples upper and lower chopsticks such that distal end portions thereof can be opened and closed about rear end portions thereof serving as fulcrums; and a supporter which is fitted to a vicinity of a base of a user's forefinger to support the adapter on the base.
Abstract: A stroller has a body structure adapted to be unfolded into an unfolded state for use, and to be folded into a folded state. A handle is supported on the body structure for forward and backward turning. The handle is set in either a backward-inclined position for a back-faced pushing mode or a forward-inclined position for a front-faced pushing mode. A handle locking mechanism locks the handle in the backward-inclined position for the back-faced pushing mode via a stopping member and a back stopping projection that engages with the stopping member. When the body structure is folded and armrests are turned upwardly from a working position, the stopping projection, which is fixed to the armrest, turns relative to the stopping member and an end part of the stopping projection is located with its major axis extended perpendicularly to an axis of the handle, and with a part thereof lying in a groove.
Abstract: A stroller comprises a handle having a shape resembling the inverted letter U, armrests pivotally joined to the handle, front legs pivotally joined to the armrests, respectively, rear legs pivotally joined to the armrests, respectively, front wheels held on lower end parts of the front legs, respectively, and rear wheels held on lower end parts of the rear legs, respectively. The front legs are set so as to extend obliquely away from each other toward the front wheels. The rear legs are set so as to extend obliquely away from each other toward the rear wheels.
Abstract: A child car seat (10) has a seat bottom (11) to be set on the seat of a vehicle, and a seat back (12) capable of turning relative to the seat bottom (11). Straps (40) having back end parts connected to an anchoring member (42) is extended along the bottom surface of the seat bottom (11). The length of parts of the straps (40) between the seat bottom (11) and the anchoring member (42) is adjusted by sliding a strap tightening device (41) along the straps (40). The strap tightening device (41) is engaged with a step (50) formed in the front end of the seat bottom (11) to hold the seat bottom (11) securely on the seat of a vehicle by the straps (40).
Abstract: A child car seat comprises a child car seat body, a back portion, and a seat portion connected to the child car seat body. The back portion is rotatably connected to the child car seat body, and the bottom end of the back portion is pulled toward the seat portion side by a spring member at a normal time. At a time of impact, an impact force larger than a force of the spring member rotates the back portion so that the back portion moves away from the seat portion.
Abstract: A guard arm with a drink container holding structure is extended between front end parts of right and left armrests of a stroller to protect a baby on the stroller. The guard arm includes a flexible guide arm body connecting the front end parts of the right and left armrests, and a pair of drink container holding members formed of a comparatively hard material and connected to opposite ends of the guide arm body, respectively. The drink container holding members are detachably connected to the front end parts of the armrests, respectively. Also, the drink container holding members are provided with recesses, for receiving drink containers therein, in their upper surfaces, respectively.
Abstract: A stroller is provided with a handle having a horizontal middle part and two side pipes. The two side pipes are connected to the horizontal middle part by gear trains so as to be turnable about axes perpendicular to an axis of the horizontal middle part, respectively. A folding part operating mechanism is incorporated into the horizontal middle part of the handle. The side pipes can be folded and unfolded relative to the horizontal middle part by turning the horizontal middle part about its axis.
Abstract: A stroller is provided with a seat back capable of being reclined by a reclining mechanism. The stroller includes a handle, and a seat back having a pipe frame pivotally supported on the handle and having the shape of an inverted letter U. The handle is provided with a plurality of stopping steps, and retaining members capable of being engaged with the stopping steps are supported respectively in end parts of the pipe frame so as to be advanced and retracted. The pipe frame has a horizontal upper part, and an unlocking device for pulling up the retaining member, to disengage the same from the stopping steps, is held on the horizontal upper part.
Abstract: In a child seat comprising a base unit fixed onto a seat of a vehicle by using a seat belt of the vehicle and a seat unit provided with a seat cushion portion and a seat back portion and fixable onto the base unit in a forward attitude with respect to the seat, a waist belt portion of the seat belt can be inserted between the base unit and the seat cushion portion in a lateral direction of the seat, and further, a waist belt guide for inhibiting the movement of the base unit forward of the seat by hooking the waist belt portion is provided in the base unit so as to hold the waist belt portion at a position nearer a fore end of the base unit.

Abstract: A remote control device 1 simplified in construction and with an improved usability and a baby carriage 100 possessed of the device 1 are disclosed. The remote control device 1 is connected via wire cables 2 and 3 to a folding and a handle switching mechanism 111 and 112. A pair of pulleys 10a and 10b rotatably supported by a support shaft 4 are rotated by a rotary plate 20 so as to wind the wire cables 2 and 3 thereon, respectively. The rotary plate 20 is rotatably supported between the pulleys 10a and 10b. A switching plate 40 is operated to select one of the pulleys 10a and 10b representative of a selected one of the folding and handle switching mechanisms. The switching plate 40 drives said rotary plate to assume a pre-established rotational angular position at which the rotary plate is capable of actuating and then rotating a selected one pulley 10a or 10b.
