The button unit is pivotally mounted to the base unit via a front part of the button unit, and is able to be actuated to allow a rear part of the button unit to substantially pivot in an up-down direction relative to the base unit. The fastening unit is disposed between the base unit and the button unit, and is operable to position the button unit relative to the base unit.

Abstract: An ergonomic computer mouse includes a mouse body, left and right lug members, a palm resting body having a height-adjusting member, an actuator configured to be manually operable to deliver a rotational force, and a cam assembly. The height-adjusting member has a pivot portion pivoted to the mouse body and a liftable portion opposite to the pivot portion. The cam assembly is disposed to convert the rotational force to a translational force, and is configured to couple the actuator to the liftable portion such that the translational force is imparted on the liftable portion, to thereby move the liftable portion between upper and lower positions.

Abstract: A power supply includes a casing mounted in a computer housing, a power module disposed in the casing, and an electrical socket and a switch module embedded in an exposed side wall of the casing. The switch module includes an operating unit mounted movably in a mounting seat, and operable so as to move among a first position adjacent to the side wall, where two terminal units coupled respectively to the electrical socket and the power module disconnect electrically from each other such that the switch module is in an OFF mode, a second position distal from the side wall, and a third position between the first and second positions, where a conducting member contacts electrically the terminal units such that the switch module is in an ON mode. When the switch module is switched from the ON mode to the OFF mode, the operating unit is moved from the third position to the first position via the second position.

Abstract: A computer housing includes: a housing body; a first supporting plate mounted in the housing body; a second supporting plate mounted in the housing body and cooperating with the first supporting plate to define a mounting space therebetween; and an operating lever pivoted to the second supporting plate, formed with an engaging tongue, and rotatable relative to the second supporting plate between a first angular position, in which the engaging tongue extends into the mounting space for retaining a box-like device in the mounting space, and a second angular position, in which the engaging tongue is disposed outside of the mounting space for permitting removal of the box-like device.

Abstract: A computer housing includes: a housing body having a front wall formed with a front opening and a mounting frame that defines a frame space and that has two opposite side walls, each of which is formed with two engaging holes and an engaging notch; and a faceplate having two engaging units, each of which includes a pair of first engaging arms and a second engaging arm. Each of the first engaging arms extends into a respective one of the engaging holes. The second engaging arm has a hook end in snap engagement with the engaging notch.

Abstract: A mounting device for mounting a peripheral device on a casing of an electronic apparatus includes a pair of spaced-apart upright mounting plates, each having a lower edge adapted to be fixed to a base plate of the casing, and each being formed with a mounting recess on one side confronting the other mounting plate. The mounting recess is defined by a pair of upright clamping walls and a connecting wall which interconnects the clamping walls. Each of a pair of anchoring members has an upright engaging wall formed with an engaging projection adapted to engage a respective outer side wall of the casing, and a pair of wing portions extending transversely, from the engaging wall. The anchoring members are inserted respectively into the mounting recesses via open upper ends of the latter, and are clamped between the clamping walls of the respective mounting recess.

Abstract: A case for mounting slidably a data storage medium in a computer housing includes a metal upper casing part and a cover plate. The upper casing part has a top wall with opposite front and rear edges and opposite lateral edges that interconnect the front and rear edges. The top wall has opposite upper and lower surfaces. The upper surface of the top wall is formed with a plurality of heat dissipating fins. The upper casing part further has two lateral walls with top edges connected to the lateral edges of the top wall. The cover plate has opposite lateral portions connected removably to bottom edges of the lateral walls, and cooperates with the upper casing part to confine a receiving space for receiving the data storage medium therein such that the data storage medium is in contact with the lower surface of the top wall.

Abstract: A position reinforcing device includes multiple positioning units mounted on a main frame body that is disposed in a computer housing and that is formed with multiple parallel operating slots. Each positioning unit includes a block mounting seat formed with a block-receiving groove that is registered with the respective operating slot, a coupling block movably disposed in the block-receiving groove, a positioning rod coupled pivotally to the coupling block, a supporting rod interconnecting pivotally the block mounting seat and the positioning rod, and an operating member mounted movably in the respective operating slot and connected to the coupling block. The operating member is operable so as to bring an abutting portion of the positioning rod to abut against an interface card in the computer housing.

Abstract: A grounding device includes flexible, insulative left and right sliding bodies and a conductive strip. Each sliding body has inner and outer abutment walls, and includes an urging tongue portion which has a distal end flush with the inner abutment wall when the latter abuts against an outer wall of an electric component module accommodated within a housing. The conductive strip has a contact end portion anchored on the urging tongue portion and clamped between the module and the urging tongue portion, a middle portion extending from the contact end portion into a mounting slot formed in a respective one of the sliding bodies, and a contact juncture protruding beyond the outer abutment wall to abut against an inner wall of the housing to thereby establish electrical contact between the module and the housing.

Abstract: A casing includes a main body having a rear end, and a side wall formed with a fixed frame plate that is parallel to and spaced from the side wall and that is proximate to the rear end. A casing cover is disposed slidably on the main body and covering the frame plate. The frame plate has a stop member formed on an upper surface, and front and rear spring-retaining holes formed therethrough. The casing cover has a cover plate abutting against the stop member so as to be prevented from sliding in a rearward direction. An elongated spring plate is disposed on the frame plate, and includes front and rear inclined plate sections extending through the front and rear spring-retaining holes and an abutment plate section abutting against a lower surface of the frame plate in such a manner that intersection of the front and rear inclined plate sections press the cover plate away from the frame plate in a direction perpendicular to the latter, thereby fixing the cover plate with respect to the frame plate.
