Abstract: A manual food dicer includes a frame equipped with a cross blade and two guiding rails, a carriage movable in translation, and a longitudinal cutting knife equipped with triangular blades, wherein the knife cooperates with positioning mechanism enabling it to be elastically mounted between a working position in which the triangular blades jut out over the upper surface of the frame, and wherein a retracted position in which the triangular blades are retracted, the translation of the carriage causing the knife to move into retracted position.
Abstract: Safety cutter for cutting vegetables into spirals comprising: a frame (30) which is provided with a spiral-cutting knife (15) which is mounted transversely facing an aperture for the passage of the cut vegetables, a casing (12) which defines a space (13) for receiving vegetables to be cut, a spiral-cutting pushing member (1) comprising a crank (6), and means for locking the casing, characterised in that the spiral-cutting knife (15) is constituted by a removable knife body (16) which can be positioned and snapped onto the frame (30) and which is provided, at the central portion thereof, with a centering pin (18) which is intended to be embedded in the flesh of a vegetable to be cut and, over one half of the length thereof, with a recess, in the region of which a transverse half-blade (17) is fixed.
