Abstract: A spark plug for an internal combustion engine includes a cylindrical housing, a cylindrical insulator, a center electrode, and a ground electrode. The ground electrode includes an upright part and an inclined part. The upright part is a portion vertically provided on a tip end part of the housing to a tip end side. The inclined part is a portion that is bent from the tip of the upright part toward the center electrode side, and is extended toward an oblique tip end side. The inclined part has a ground end face, an opposed face, and a corner curved face. The corner curved face is a face that smoothly connects the ground end face and the opposed face. The corner curved face has a curved shape. The curvature radius R of the corner curved face satisfies 0.3 mm?R?0.7 mm. The inclination angle ? of the inclined part with respect to a plug axial direction (Z) satisfies 30°???60°.
Abstract: When a rotational angle of a pedal is in a range from an angle of zero degrees to a predetermined rotational angle, which is larger than a full-opening-time rotational angle, a first Hall IC outputs a first voltage, which is twice larger than a second voltage outputted from a second Hall IC. When the rotational angle of the pedal is larger than the predetermined angle, the first Hall IC outputs a predetermined constant voltage. When an output difference, which is computed based on the first voltage and the second voltage, is equal to or smaller than a second threshold value, an abnormality of the sensed rotational angle of the pedal is determined.
Abstract: A spool is moved by controlling the amount of electric current supplied to a linear solenoid of a changeover valve, and selects any one of valve sections. The state of communication between fluid passages connected to the changeover valve is determined by the valve section and selected. With the selection of the valve section, the hydraulic fluid is discharged from the advance oil pressure chamber while being supplied to the advance oil pressure chamber, and also is discharged from the retard oil pressure chamber. The oil pressure in the advance oil pressure chamber remains low even when the oil is filled in the advance oil pressure chamber.
Abstract: A signal processor comprises wheel speed-detecting means for detecting a wheel speed signal including vibrational components of a tire, extraction means for extracting a resonant frequency of the vibrational components of the tire or a tire spring constant based on the wheel speed signals, air pressure-estimating means for estimating a tire air pressure based on the resonant frequency or the tire spring constant, and determining means for determining whether the estimated tire air pressure is abnormal or not by comparing with a determination value. Further, correcting means corrects at least one of the determination value, the estimated tire air pressure, the resonant frequency and the tire spring constant in response to a tire temperature. A temperature-sensing device is mounted inside the signal processor to detect a temperature associated with the tire temperature.
