Abstract: A golf club head includes a main body having a topline and an opposing sole. The main body includes a striking face extending between the topline and sole, and a rear face in opposed relation to the striking face. A sole body is proximate the rear face and extends at least partially along the sole. A peripheral flange extends at least partially about the rear face and is of a flange height, HF, relative to the rear face. A truss protrudes from the rear face and includes a at least a first truss arm which is of a first truss arm height, HT1, relative to the rear face, wherein the difference between HF and HT1 is less than about 0.25 mm.

Abstract: An insert for a golf club head, wherein the insert includes a generally planar base surface and a maximum thickness, Tmax, measured perpendicular to the base surface. The insert further includes a first component comprising a non-metallic material, and a second component coupled to the first component and comprising a continuous, formed metal sheet having a thickness between 0.01 mm and 3.0 mm, the second component extending a maximum distance, D, in a direction perpendicular to the base surface, that is no less than 6 mm. The insert is configured such that a ratio D/Tmax is no less than 0.50.

Abstract: Generally, described are methods, apparatuses and systems for a recommendation engine which determines a recommendation based upon a terrestrial parameter and an overall factor unrelated to the terrestrial parameter. The recommendation engine may receive as inputs: (1) some data relating to the terrestrial parameter and (2) some data relating to user operation of a mechanical device. An overall factor may be calculated or obtained, at least in part, from the data relating to user operation of the mechanical device. And based upon the data relating to the terrestrial parameter and the overall factor, a recommendation may be determined and transmitted. In one embodiment, as part of the transmission process, the recommendation may be displayed to a user requesting the recommendation.
