Patents Assigned to Earthlite Massage Tables, Inc.
  • Patent number: 9072645
Abstract: A massage device (10) includes a table top assembly (12) that supports a user above a surface (18). The massage device (10) comprises a leg assembly (14) and an adjuster assembly (16). The leg assembly (14) extends between the table top assembly (12) and the surface (18). Additionally, the leg assembly (14) includes a first leg (24), a second leg (26), and a leg attacher (28) that pivotally secures the first leg (24) to the second leg (26). The adjuster assembly (16) adjusts the position of the table top assembly (12) relative to the surface (18) between a lower position and an upper position. The adjuster assembly (16) includes an adjuster (44) that acts primarily in push mode to pivot the second leg (26) relative to the first leg (24) so that the table top assembly (12) moves between the lower position and the upper position.

  • Patent number: 8499386
Abstract: A body support assembly (326A) for supporting the body of a user of a massage device (10) includes a frame (334), a pad assembly (336) and a cover assembly (338). The pad assembly (336) is supported by the frame (334). The cover assembly (338) secures the pad assembly (336) to the frame (334). The cover assembly (338) includes a top cover section (360), a bottom cover section (362), and a section connector (364). The section connector (364) selectively moves between an open configuration and a closed configuration. When the section connector (364) is in the open configuration, the top cover section (360) is not directly connected to the bottom cover section (362). When the section connector (364) is in the closed configuration, the top cover section (360) is directly connected to the bottom cover section (362). The cover assembly (338) can further include a middle cover section (366) that is connected to the top cover section (360) and the bottom cover section (362).

  • Patent number: 8256360
Abstract: A massage table for supporting a person above a surface during a massage includes a table top assembly and a leg assembly. The table top assembly supports the person. The leg assembly is secured to the table top assembly and supports the table top assembly above the surface. The leg assembly includes a plurality of legs. At least at least one of the legs includes (i) a first leg section that is attached to the table top assembly, (ii) a second leg section that is movable relative to the first leg section to adjust the position of the table top assembly relative to the support, and (iii) a section attacher that selectively attaches the first leg section to the second leg section. In one embodiment, the section attacher includes a section stop and a section clamp. The section stop inhibits relative movement between the first leg section and the second leg section. The section clamp also selectively inhibits relative movement between the first leg section and the second leg section.

  • Patent number: 7979934
Abstract: A headrest assembly (212) for supporting a face of a user (16) of a massage device (10) includes a resilient assembly (220) and a support arm assembly (222). The resilient assembly (220) supports the face (13) of the user. The support arm assembly (222) couples the resilient assembly (220) to the massage device (10). The support arm assembly (222) can include a first support arm (228) that selectively engages a headrest receiver assembly (15) of the massage device (10), a spaced apart second support arm (230) that selectively engages the headrest receiver assembly (15), and an arm connector (232) that couples the support arms (228) (230) together. The arm connector (232) can inhibit relative pivoting of the support arms (228) (230) when the support arms (228) (230) are not engaging the headrest receiver assembly (15).

  • Patent number: 7966947
Abstract: A resting device assembly for supporting a person above a surface during a procedure includes a resting device and a trolley. The resting device includes a device top assembly having a padded device top that supports the person during the procedure, and a device frame that supports the device top assembly. The device frame includes a frame base, a frame leg assembly having a plurality of spaced apart legs that supports the frame base and the device top assembly above the surface, and a height adjuster that adjusts the length of the plurality of spaced apart legs so as to raise and lower the device top relative to the surface. The frame base is a substantially rigid frame base that significantly increases the overall strength, support, and stability of the resting device assembly. The trolley defines a storage area for storing procedure materials that are usable during the procedure.

  • Patent number: 7761943
Abstract: A headrest assembly for supporting a head of a user of a massage device includes a frame assembly and a resilient assembly. The frame assembly is selectively coupled to the massage device, and the resilient assembly is coupled to the frame assembly. The resilient assembly includes an upper resilient member and a headrest platform that supports the upper resilient member. The headrest platform includes a first side section, a second side section, a middle section that is positioned substantially between and is coupled to the first side section and the second side section, and a hinge assembly that connects the side sections to the frame assembly. The hinge assembly allows the middle section to flex substantially downward and the side sections to pivot relative to the hinge assembly when the headrest platform is supporting the head of the user.

  • Patent number: 7452032
Abstract: A resting device assembly for supporting a person during a procedure includes a resting device and an armrest. The resting device supports the person during the treatment and includes a device frame. The armrest includes an arm support, a frame bracket, a frame pivot, and a support arm pivot. The arm support supports an arm of the person. The frame pivot connects the frame bracket to the device frame, and allows the frame bracket and the arm support to concurrently pivot relative to the device frame. The support arm pivot connects the arm support to the frame bracket and allows the arm support to pivot relative to the frame bracket. In certain embodiments, the two pivots of the armrest assembly allows for improved adjustability of the armrest. As a result thereof, the person is more comfortable during the manicure or other procedure.

  • Publication number: 20080083068
Abstract: An armrest assembly for attachment to a massage table having a first leg and a second leg that is spaced apart from the first leg is used to support an arm of a person during a massage. The armrest assembly can include a first arm frame, a second arm frame, a frame connector, and an armrest attachment assembly. The first arm frame includes a first leg engager that engages the first leg. The second arm frame includes a second leg engager that engages the second leg. The arm frames cooperate to support the arms of the person. The frame connector assembly connects the arm frames together and allows for relative movement between the first leg engager and the second leg engager. The armrest attachment assembly attaches the arm frames to the massage table. With this design, the armrest assembly is uniquely designed to selectively fit different sized massage tables and the same armrest assembly can be used on many different models of massage tables.
