Abstract: The invention relates to a powder diffuser nozzle (2) for an electrostatic dusting device, which is designed to be positioned at the end of an applicator gun. The inventive nozzle (2) comprises: a lateral wall (49) which defines a passage that extends from the powder conduit (8) of the gun (3), and a base (56) which seals said conduit (8) at the end thereof. In addition, a port (57) is provided in the lateral wall (49) close to the base (56) in order to connect the powder conduit (8) with the exterior of the nozzle (2). The axis (A1) of the port (57) forms a determined angle (A) with the axis (A2) of the powder conduit (8). Moreover, at least one deflector (58) is provided on the base of the nozzle (56) or on the lateral wall (49) close to said base in order to divert the jet of powder from the conduit (8) along the axis (A1) of the port (57).

Abstract: The invention device measures the instantaneous rotation speed of a turbine (6) which is housed inside the body (3) of the paint sprayer (2) and which rotationally drives the rotating bowl (5) when the paint sprayer is mounted on the end of an arm (8) of a robot or an analogous multi-axis machine. A disk (10), which is disposed to the rear of the turbine (6) and which rotates therewith, cooperates with the front end (11a) of an optical-fiber-type light guide (11) which is interrupted (11b) at the rear (7) of the body (3) of the paint sprayer (2). Transmitting and receiving optoelectronic means are mounted on the end of the arm on the mounting plane (9) of the paint sprayer, opposite the rear end (11b) of the light guide (11). Said means convert a reflected optical signal which is carried by the optical guide (11) into an electronic signal which is carried by an electric cable (22) placed in the arm (8). The inventive device is suitable for use with machines on automatic painting lines for automotive vehicles.

Abstract: A generator is provided inside equipment, such as a sprayer, having a high voltage cascade including a voltage-gain transformer and a voltage multiplier arranged at the output of the transformer. The transformer is a double or multiple transformer, including at least two elementary transformers, whereof respective primary windings are mounted electrically in parallel, and whereof respective secondary windings are mounted electrically in series, the arrangement reducing a diameter of the cascade to facilitate incorporation in the sprayer or other equipment. The invention is applicable to painting robots for the automotive industry.

Abstract: The invention concerns a triboelectric sprayer for spraying electrostatic powder paint, comprising a powder intake, an air intake, a conduit transporting air and powder while providing the electrical charge of the powder and, in front of the charging conduit, means for emitting at least an air-powder mixture jet. The air intake is located in the axis of the charging conduit, while the powder intake is arranged laterally and converges in an acute angle with the air intake, in a point located upstream of the charging conduit.
