Abstract: The present invention provides a computer for receiving a removable data storage device comprising a case having an internal motherboard with a CPU mounted thereon; at least one substantially rectangular opening on the case; at least one slot each provided within the opening for communicating therewith; and a USB port provided at a bottom of the slot opposite to the opening for being electrically connected to the motherboard; wherein the data storage device is insertable into the slot via the opening for connecting an I/O port of the micro drive and the USB port together. By utilizing this, the CPU on the motherboard is able to read data from the micro drive or write data into the micro drive via the coupled USB port and I/O port.

Abstract: A fixing mechanism of an electronic device comprising a frame with an inverted “L” shape sliding slot on one side, a wall with a sliding track on one side is on the edge of the other side, a pair of open slots are on the sliding track, a stopper can move freely is on the open slots, an inverted “L” shape standing stopper is on one side of the wall facing the stopper, a handle is on the back of the standing stopper, a protruding bar is on the handle, an opening corresponding to the protruding bar is on the wall; when the stopper moves forward, the protruding bar wedges into the opening and fixes the stopper from moving. When an electronic device is installed on the frame, the electronic device is locked firmly onto the frame by the standing stopper pressing on both sides and can be moved out of the frame easily and rapidly.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a drawer-type computer casing comprising a box and a sliding frame, wherein the box comprises an opening on one side, a connecting section disposed respectively on both corresponding sides of the opening and an accommodating space therein, and the sliding frame can be accommodated in the accommodating space and comprises a latching member movably coupled to an end surface of the box at the position corresponding to the connecting section, such that when the sliding frame is installed in the accommodating space, the latching member will be set precisely on the corresponding position of the connecting section. Therefore, the latching member can be moved into the connecting section to connect the box and the sliding frame together without using screws.

Abstract: An expansible and detachable housing of electronic device has two half-housings and two base plates with a detachable pivot element respectively connected to the bottom plates. Whereby, when the two bottom plates are formed a plane, the two half-housings are formed an extension state, or when the two bottom plates is caused to be perpendicular to each other, the two half-housing bodies is allowed to assemble to form a complete housing, or when the two bottom plates are separated, the two half-housings is formed a separation state. Therefore, the present invention can allow each electronic element to be assembled easily and to be maintained conveniently. Furthermore, electronic elements can be conveniently assembled in the two half-housing bodies separately at two different locations according to needs, and then, integrated into a whole body.

Abstract: An electronic device installation dock for installing an electronic device includes a frame which has a housing space for holding the electronic device and a left side wall and a right side wall that have at least one fastener hole, and an elastic housing that is flexible to couple the electronic device and has two lateral sides corresponding to the two side walls. The lateral sides have a fastener corresponding to the fastener hole and are extended to form a carrying part. The electronic device and the elastic housing are coupled and may be jointly slid in the housing space of the frame. The fastener is engaged with the fastener hole at a fastened position in normal, and may be disengaged at a released position by lifting the carrying part.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a structure for quickly installing and removing an optical disk drive comprising an optical disk drive frame and a main frame, wherein the optical disk drive frame has a vertical wall surface on one side, a side bracket on the other side, a sliding channel disposed adjacent to the side bracket, a latch member disposed on the sliding channel and capable of moving along the sliding channel back and forth, and a push button disposed at the bottom of the latch member. When an optical disk drive is mounted onto the optical disk drive frame, the push button is pushed to move the latch member forward and press against the edge of the optical disk drive, enabling the optical disk drive to be fixed onto the optical disk drive frame.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a snapping mechanism mounted in a compartment of a case of a PC comprising a second hook of a pivotal member installed within the compartment for being pushed by a second protrusion of an electronic device, while mounting the electronic device into the compartment, the pivotal member moves along a trough provided thereon from one position to another position and enables an elastic member of the snapping mechanism to pivot the pivotal member like a lever to urge a first hook thereof against a first protrusion of the electronic device with the elastic member compressed and generate a strong snapping force to fasten the electronic device within the compartment.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a mechanism for quickly removing an electronic device from a PC having a smaller case, which comprises a slot in the PC having one or more recesses at either side, enabling a tray installed with the electronic device to be inserted therein through a front opening of the slot and enabling one or more snapping members on either side of the tray to be adapted to snap into one or more recesses on the slot. In an operation of removing the electronic device from the PC, a user may pull a first clinging member of a pivotal gate at the front opening to open a gate upward, and then hold a handle of the tray to quickly pull the tray toward the front opening of the slot.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a hinge assembly for notebook computers capable of keeping a screen of a monitor connected face-to-face with a main system of the notebook, and such hinge assembly also can keep an included angle between the monitor and the main system from zero degree (i.e. closed status for stacking the monitor and the main system) to 180 degrees (i.e. horizontally aligned status of the monitor and the main system). Furthermore, the monitor can continue to be turned over until the screen of the monitor faces the back of the main system, and then further till the monitor and the main system are in the back-to-back contact with each other.

Abstract: A frame mechanism for facilitating replacement of an electronic device from a computer, which includes a pivotal parallelepiped frame having a mounting side for installing the electronic device (e.g., CD-ROM drive etc.) therethrough. Abstract: A power supply guide device of a computer host is provided as a connection structure between a power supply and a computer case. The power supply guide device comprises a computer case and a power supply placement device. A first guide device is provided on the horizontal plane of the computer case. A first pivotal portion and a second pivotal portion are located at the upper end and the lower end of the vertical plane of the computer case, respectively. The power supply placement device has a space for placing the power supply. A first fastening device above the power supply placement device is fastened with the first guide device. The first pivotal device and the second pivotal device are respectively connected with the first pivotal portion and the second pivotal portion so that the power supply placement device can be pivotally connected with the computer case.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a CD-ROM drive capable of rapidly detaching and installing, which comprises a frame mounted in a case of a computer. The frame comprises a side opening, an interior cavity in communication with the side opening so that the CD-ROM drive can be mounted in the cavity through the side opening, and an elongated fastening assembly at a side of the cavity. The fastening assembly comprises an elongated sliding member capable of moving toward or away from the side opening, and an elongated fastening member capable of moving toward or away from the CD-ROM drive. After mounting the CD-ROM drive in the cavity, it is possible of manipulating the sliding member to move the fastening member for fastening or detaching the CD-ROM drive to or from the frame.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a structure of notebook computer comprising a display assembly having a LCD (liquid crystal display) fitted on its front surface, an internal motherboard coupled to the LCD and a computer case having a power supply assembly and an input/output (I/O) interface, wherein the power supply assembly is electrically coupled to the motherboard by means of a power cord for supplying a rated power to the motherboard, and the I/O interface is coupled to the motherboard by means of a data cable, thereby reserving more interior space of the computer case for installing other electronic devices, reducing thickness of the computer case, and making the computer case more expandable.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a CD-ROM drive assembly capable of rapidly installing and detaching, which comprises a CD-ROM drive inserted into a slot of a case of a computer. The CD-ROM drive includes an elongated recess at a side and a plurality of apertures on a wall of the recess, and an elongated fastening mechanism having a plurality of holes aligned with the apertures so that a plurality of fasteners can be driven through the holes into the apertures for securing the fastening mechanism to the recess and for forming an assembly, and a first latch on a bottom being secured to a second latch inside the slot of the case. After the CD-ROM being fastened in the case, it only needs to disengage the first latch from the second latch prior to removing the CD-ROM drive from the case.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing that is formed with two fixed positioning members, and a back-supporting plate that is movable forcibly on an upright housing portion of the housing to move two tongues of two movable members along two annular guide slots in the positioning members. Each of the annular guide slots has a plurality of positioning slot portions. Each of the tongues of the movable members is limited to move within a corresponding one of the annular guide slots along a single direction, and is biased into a selected one of the positioning slot portions of the corresponding one of the annular guide slots. As such, the inclination angle of an upright housing portion of the housing relative to a horizontal support surface can be adjusted.

Abstract: A laptop computer includes a liquid crystal display (LCD) device and a host. The host has a cover and a base that snap fit with each other. The LCD device is pivotally connected to the base by a hinge. The host is easily maintained or upgraded without disassembling the LCD device, and can be directly tested after having been maintained or upgraded.
