Abstract: A system for developing and deploying virtual replicas of real-world elements into a persistent virtual world system. The development of the virtual replicas is performed in a virtual environment that enables development and configuration of the virtual replicas that mirror the behavior and appearance of the corresponding real elements. The virtual replicas are enriched through data captured by sensing mechanisms that synchronize in real-time the virtual replicas with the real-world elements. The virtual replicas are shared in a virtual world-based quality assurance system where they can be either approved or rejected for subsequent adjustments, when necessary. After approval and deployment, the replicas are shared in a deployed persistent virtual world system that is viewable to end users for management and interaction of the virtual replicas. Methods thereof are also disclosed.
Abstract: A composition for promoting mitochondrial biogenesis includes an effective amount of an azelaic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. Azelaic acid, which is a compound mainly contained in cereals and natural products has the advantage of no or little side effects, and induces mitochondrial autophagy and mitochondrial DNA synthesis in cells, thereby having activity of increasing mitochondrial density. Therefore, azelaic acid can be used for the treatment of mitochondrial dysfunction-associated disease caused by the failure of homeostasis control of the mitochondria, for example, mitochondrial activity or the decrease in the number of mitochondria.

A server system stores and provides a persistent virtual world system comprising one or more applications virtually attached to virtual-world entities positioned according to real-world coordinates, the server system being configured to compute the state of the virtual-world entities and to process the applications. Upon detecting the user devices in a corresponding zone (e.g., by the wireless network detecting user devices connecting to the server), the server system sends a minimum amount of application graphical representation to the user devices. Upon user interaction with the application graphical representation, the user devices download a minimum amount of application data, prompting the server system to determine suitable application media streams.

Abstract: Disclosed are modularized garment manufacturing method and system for small quantity batch production of garments. Basic components constituting an ordered garment are generated by analyzing shape graphic data of the ordered garment. For each basic component, basic patterns are generated for each dimension of the ordered garment. The basic patterns are compared with reference garment patterns stored in a garment pattern database to determine a pattern category of each basic pattern. Based on the pattern category of the basic patterns and information on garment production lines currently in operation, subdivided work modules are determined for each basic pattern.
