  • Patent number: 9630620
Abstract: A vehicle control device includes a single manipulandum that selects at least one of first to n-th modes in which ON/OFF states of mutually related functions are set, or a function OFF as an operation support function of a vehicle. An operation support controller selects a transition order according to the current mode when the current state is any one of the first to n-th modes, and sequentially selects each one of the first to n-th modes other than the current mode, and the function OFF based on the selected transition order, each time an operation of the manipulandum is detected. The n is a natural number of 2 or greater.

  • Patent number: 9623869
Abstract: A collision prevention controller mounted on a subject vehicle receives lane line information from a first environment recognizer and three-dimensional object information on a target three-dimensional object from a second environment recognizer, estimates the visual range of the driver based on the lane line information, determines whether the target three-dimensional object is located outside of the visual range of the driver, and determines the possibility of a collision of the target three-dimensional object and the subject vehicle. When the target three-dimensional object is located outside of the visual range of the driver, the collision prevention controller executes at least either one of notification to the driver or application of automatic braking in accordance with the possibility of collision with the subject vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9618954
Abstract: In response to connection of a vehicle with an external power supply, a plug ECU (PLG-ECU) performs a first charging operation of controlling a charger using a target value which is set to a state of charge lower than a predetermined full state of charge, until the state of charge of a power storage device reaches the target value. After the state of charge reaches the target value, the PLG-ECU stops charging of the power storage device, and restarts charging of the power storage device so that the state of charge reaches the predetermined full state of charge at a scheduled time to end charging which is specified through the use of an input unit.

  • Patent number: 9611796
Abstract: A cylinder-injection-engine control apparatus includes a fuel injection controller that executes air purge control for performing fuel injection in an intake stroke if fuel pressure is below a predetermined pressure when an engine starts. When executing the air purge control, the fuel injection controller makes a fuel injection time of an injector longer than when the fuel pressure is higher than or equal to the predetermined pressure. When executing the air purge control, if the amount of fuel in a fuel tank is larger than or equal to a predetermined amount and an integrated value of a fuel injection amount (integrated injection amount) since start of the fuel injection is larger than or equal to a predetermined value, the fuel injection controller stops the air purge control.
