  • Patent number: 8110519
Abstract: The objective is to present compositions obtained by supporting by polymers micro clusters of transition metals and the like that are useful as catalysts in various reactions and, once used, are readily recovered and reused. A polymer-supported metal cluster composition is obtained by supporting a transition metal by a cross-linked polymer, and the polymer-supported cluster composition is characterized by the cross-linked polymer obtained by cross-linking of a cross-linkable polymer containing a hydrophilic side chain and a hydrophobic side chain group having a cross-linkable functional group. This polymer-supported metal cluster composition is, for example, preferably formed by first forming a micelle composed of the metal clusters supported by the cross-linkable polymer in a suitable solution and subsequently subjecting the cross-linkable polymer to a cross-linking reaction.

  • Patent number: 8011987
Abstract: A TFT is formed on a substrate. TFT has first and second regions as a source and a drain, a channel region between the first and second regions, and a gate electrode. An interlayer insulating film is formed on the substrate, covering the thin film transistor. A pixel electrode disposed on the interlayer insulating film is electrically connected to the first region of TFT via a via hole formed in the interlayer insulating film. A cover film covers the edge of the pixel electrode, exposes the inner area of the pixel electrode, and covers the surface of the interlayer insulating film in the area superposed upon the channel region of the thin film transistor to shield an ultraviolet ray. An organic light emission layer and an upper electrode are disposed on and above the pixel electrode.

  • Patent number: 7820402
Abstract: The immunoassay element for quantitatively analyzing an antigen by determining the change in enzymatic activity of an enzyme-labelled antigen or antibody caused by an immunological reaction. The immunoassay element comprises a substrate layer containing a non-diffusible substrate which forms a diffusible material in the presence of the labelling enzyme, and a reagent layer containing a fragmenting enzyme for further fragmenting the diffusible material into a lower molecular weight product. As the non-diffusible substrate, a substrate capable of reacting solely with the labelling enzyme and incapable of reacting the fragmenting enzyme is utilized. When an endo-active glucosidase is used as the labelling enzyme, and an exo-active glucosidase is used the fragmenting enzyme in the reagent layer, the non-diffusible substrate of the substrate layer is preferred to be an endo type selectively reactive substrate, which means a substrate having a reactivity specific to endo-active glucosidase.

Abstract: A device for joining substrates (11) is provided inside a clean booth (12). a single axis robot (46) and a five axis robot (47) convey a wafer (25) and a glass substrate (33). A transcribing station (91) obtains a transcribing film (112) on which adhesive is applied from a film supplying section (113), and presses the transcribing film (112) to the glass substrate (33) so as to transcribe the adhesive to the glass substrate (33). A peeling station (92) peels the transcribing film (112) from the glass substrate (33). A joining station (57) positions the wafer (25) and the glass substrate (33), adjusts parallelism of joining surfaces of the wafer (25) and the glass substrate (33), and joins these substrates together. Since the handling and the joining of the wafer (25), the glass substrate (33) and the transcribing film (112) are performed in the clean booth, it is prevented that a yield ratio of the product decreases because of the adhesion of foreign matters.

  • Patent number: 7626913
Abstract: To provide an excellent optical information recording method, optical information recording medium and optical information recording apparatus both of which use the method. The method generates no excessively-exposed region, can sufficiently fix recorded information, and never reduce the sensitivity of non-recorded regions. This is achieved because the method applies a fixing beam onto at least a portion of an exposed region of a recording layer of the optical information recording medium, the recording layer recording information by holography, at an exposure level T (mJ/cm2) that satisfies the condition H<(S+T)<2H (where S is an integrated exposure level (mJ/cm2), which is the total of the exposure level in each predetermined region that constitutes the exposed region where an interference image has been recorded by irradiating the recording layer with an information beam and a reference beam, and H is a minimum fixing exposure level (mJ/cm2) required to fix the interference image).

  • Patent number: 7611232
Abstract: A multi-nozzle ink jet head having a diaphragm that effectively utilizes the force generated by thin-film piezoelectric elements is disclosed. The head (2) has a head substrate (28) in which are formed a plurality of nozzles (39) and a plurality of pressure chambers (29), a multi-layer diaphragm (23-1, 23-2), piezoelectric elements (27), and individual electrodes (26). By making the thickness of the common electrode layer (23-1) of the multi-layer diaphragm be thin but such that problems do not occur during multi-pin driving, optimization of the rigid layer becomes possible, and hence it is possible to use the force generated by the thin-film piezoelectric elements efficiently in ink ejection.
