Patents Assigned to Gebr. Schmidt Fabrik fur Feinmechanik, GmbH & Co. Kg
  • Patent number: 11801652
Abstract: A spindle drive having a spindle, a spindle nut which is arranged on the spindle, a housing which surrounds the spindle nut, and an overload clutch which is arranged in the housing. The spindle nut and the housing are connected to one another via the overload clutch. The overload clutch is set up to disconnect the spindle nut from the housing in a torque-free manner if a defined overload torque which acts between the spindle nut and the housing is exceeded.

  • Patent number: 11465381
Abstract: A press including a drive train having a motor and a press ram, and a housing having a first base plate, a second base plate and at least three columns arranged therebetween. The columns connect the two base plates to one another and keep them spaced apart. A first opening is arranged in the first base plate and a second opening is arranged in the second base plate. At least a part of the motor is arranged on a first side of the first base plate facing away from the columns and at least a part of the press ram is arranged on a second side of the second base plate facing away from the columns. The motor and the press ram are interconnected through the first and second openings.

  • Patent number: 7093994
Abstract: A dosing device for demand-dosing a liquid includes a primary container, a point of release for releasing the liquid, a main liquid channel between the primary container and the point of release and a vented secondary container, wherein the secondary container is coupled to the main liquid channel at a branch point, wherein the secondary container and the main liquid channel are designed such that the main liquid channel preferably fills with the liquid before the secondary container. The dosing device further includes a liquid valve between the primary container and the branch point, a sensor for measuring the filling level in the secondary container and finally means for opening the valve responsive to a predetermined filling level in the secondary container.

  • Patent number: 7080595
Abstract: A manually operated press has an actuating member, the movement of which being translated into a stroke movement of a press ram. A stroke stop is provided for inhibiting an undesired stroke movement of the press ram. The stroke stop comprises a first sensor for detecting the stroke movement of the press ram as well as a clutch. The clutch is actuated under the control of signals of the first sensor and is adapted to inhibit a transmission of force between the actuating member and the press ram.

  • Patent number: 6856130
Abstract: An impact-induced pulse sensor comprises a housing having a longitudinal axis and a guiding element arranged on the housing. A sensor element is adapted to be displaced within the housing along the guiding element when an essentially pulse-shaped impact of a given duration is exerted on the housing. The sensor element is displaced with a predetermined speed and along a predetermined distance. The guiding element is configured such as to affect the speed. The sensor element is made of a magnetic material. A pickup element is rigidly connected to the housing for magnetically generating a measuring signal derived from the displacing of the sensor element caused by the impact. The sensor element, when displaced, generates in the pickup element a measuring voltage depending from the distance. The guiding element affects the speed such that for impacts with like pulse areas the measuring voltage vs distance is independent from the duration of the pulse-shaped impact.

  • Patent number: 6755124
Abstract: A manually operable press comprises a manually pivotable actuating lever for effecting a forward press stroke and a return stroke of a press slide. A mechanical return stroke interlock inhibits a return movement of the press before the press slide has come to a lower end position of the press stroke. A cam plate within said return stroke interlock is connected for being pivoted together with the actuating lever. The cam plate has a groove-shaped guide cam provided with a plurality of lock protrusions. A spring-biased lock pin runs along the guide cam and is adapted to run freely along the guide ram in an operational direction but is inhibited by the lock protrusions within the guide cam from running in a direction opposite the operational direction. An opening each is provided in the guide cam at the lock protrusions. Unlocking pins are provided in each of the openings.
