The imprint, the permeability of the material of the pouch sleeve, and the active ingredient composition are configured such that, because of an effect of the saliva, the imprint is gradually released from the exterior surface of the pouch due to contact with the saliva. The saliva extracts the active ingredient composition from the pouch and fades the imprint so the imprint is no longer visually perceptible just when the active ingredient composition is substantially or completely extracted from the pouch. The imprint acts as a visual indicator of a consumption status of the active ingredient.
