    Abstract: An electrode plate includes a base electrode plate, an edge forming electrode plate on the base electrode plate, and an ink reception absorption bodies embedded into the edge forming electrode plate. A plurality of head modules are precisely attached to the electrode plate so that nozzle rows formed in nozzle plates of the head modules extend following corresponding windows formed in the electrode plate. Such a precise attachment is realized by matching the pinholes formed in the nozzle plates to the corresponding pinholes formed in the base electrode plate and the edge-forming electrode plate.

    Abstract: An optical recording apparatus includes a light-transmitting diffraction grating at a front focus of an imaging lens and a multi-channel acousto-optic modulator provided at a back focus of the lens. An angle formed between a plane formed by diffracted beams emerging from the lens and a revolution surface of a rotating polygonal mirror is set to be equal to an angle at which the beam diffracted by the multi-channel acousto-optic modulator emerges to be incident on the mirror. The diffracted beams are incident on the imaging lens to satisfy a predetermined condition.

    Abstract: A perfecting press apparatus for forming images on both sides of a transfer medium. With respect to a transferring current Ipt of an image forming unit, current Ipc is made large which flows from a charge control instrument for controlling charge polarity of the toner on the transfer medium in the direction of the transfer medium. In particular, in the image forming unit causing retransfer, a de-charging light source is installed between the a developing device and a transferring device for canceling charges other than at a latent image part of an image carrier, so that the relationship between Ipt and Ipc is to be 3×Ipc≦Ipc≦6×Ipt, whereby the retransfer is suppressed to minimum for producing satisfied quality of image.

    Abstract: An optical recording apparatus includes an optical system, a photosensitive drum and a rotational mechanism. Multibeam laser light is focused through the optical system to form an image as a column of image-forming beam spots on the photosensitive drum. The column of image-forming beam spots is arranged obliquely on the photosensitive drum and scanned to perform optical recording. The optical system includes a resolution converting lens system which is detachably attached into the optical system. The rotating mechanism adjusts rotation of the resolution converting lens system around an optical axis thereof. The resolution converting lens system is rotated by the rotating mechanism to change of resolution of the recording image. The resolution converting lens system is attached into and detached from the optical system to change of resolution of the recording image.

    Abstract: A developing unit in an electro-photographic apparatus such as a printer, a facsimile and a copier for actualizing an image employing colored particles such as toner, and more particularly to a developing unit for forming a toner image on the surface of a photosensitive body. The developing unit includes a plurality of developing rollers each having a core and a sleeve. The sleeve accommodates the core. The plurality of developing rollers include a first developing roller and a second developing roller. The sleeve for the first developing roller is rotated to move in the same direction as a moving direction of the surface of the photosensitive body. The sleeve for the second developing roller is rotated to move in an opposite direction to the moving direction of the surface of the photosensitive body. The core for at least one of the plurality of developing rollers is driven in rotation.
