Abstract: A neural network learning system using back propagation and a method of learning pattern showing are disclosed. In the case where a supervised signal contains an error or a pattern difficult to learn, the error is detected and the particular pattern is automatically removed during calculations of learning iterations to conduct rightly and accelerate the learning. The learning history for each pattern is stored to detect inconsistent and difficult-to-learn patterns, which are prevented from being shown to the network by a pattern showing control during the next learning iteration. As a result, an inconsistent or difficult-to-learn pattern which may be contained in a learning pattern set of input and supervised patterns is removed during learning iterations thereby to permit early completion of the learning process.

Abstract: A method of controlling data which is stored into a common storage in a multiprocessor system having a common storage which can be accessed from a plurality of computers is disclosed. Particularly, a method of controlling shared data using an extended storage as a common storage is disclosed. The copy of the data of a part of or all of a shared data set in an input/output device and the copy data control information to control the copied data are stored into the common extended storage. In the case of accessing the data in the common extended storage, the mutual exclusion among a plurality of computers and the consistency control of the data are realized by referring to the control information stored in the common extended storage.
Abstract: A process and a device for deciding class hierarchical relationship of an object oriented language which, in decision of the relationship of class inheritance of an object oriented language having a hierarchical relationship of classes, performs coding processing for affixing the codes each having a predetermined relation to each of those classes and decides the relationship of inheritance in a hierarchy of two optional classes with said series of codes affixed to said two optional classes having said hierarchical relationship.

Abstract: A display method in an information processing device for use in software development support includes the steps of analyzing a software product before change and a software product after change. Respectively forming structure information before change and structure information after change, which consist of software element informations correlated with each other, in accordance with the respective structures of the software products. Forming structure information that forms a union set of the before-change structure information and said after change structure information, which includes all the software element informations before and after change, and appending identification information representative of the manner of change in each software element to the union set structure information. Converting at least a part of the union set structure information into its graphic format so as to be produced together with the representations of the change manners represented by the identification information.
Abstract: Automatic program generation method and apparatus in a computer program development support system having an input unit for inputting input information relating to data declaration and manner of use of data, a memory unit for storing a plurality of program part phototypes each including modifyable information and a processing unit for generating a program part from a program part prototype, wherein the input information is analyzed, one of the program part prototypes stored in the memory unit is selected in accordance with the analysis of the input information, and the selected program part prototype is substituted in accordance with the analysis of the input information to generate a program.
