Abstract: A magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus has a chassis, a rotary cylinder mounted on the chassis, and at least one guide base movably disposed around the rotary cylinder. The guide base is provided with a guide member for drawing out a magnetic tape from a tape cassette. The guide member draws out the magnetic tape from the tape cassette, as the guide base is being moved, and winds the magnetic tape around the rotary cylinder so that a predetermined tape passage is defined. The magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus further has a capstan mechanism for driving the magnetic tape to run the same. The capstan mechanism is arranged on the same side of the chassis on which the rotary cylinder is disposed, and has a capstan downwards extending toward the chassis to come into direct contact with the magnetic tape.

  • Patent number: 5060074
Abstract: A video imaging apparatus changes an area of an imaging element (CCD or MOS type) from which a signal is read out as a TV signal. A normal transfer speed is used to read out the signal from the area as the TV signal and a high transfer speed is used to read out a signal from other area so that smooth movement of an image can be attained.Further, when movement of a video camera occurs, the movement can be judged by observation through a view finder, that is, which partial area of the whole area of the imaging element is produced as the TV signal can be recognized.

  • Patent number: 5059872
Abstract: The digital convergence correction device is used for a projection-type television receiver having a Braun tube with an aspherical surface fluorescent screen and a projection lens system with an aspherical surface plastic lens attached to the display screen of th Braun tube. In the digital convergence correction device, a digital memory stores digital correction data corresponding to correction values at the convergence adjustment points on the display screen that is divided in the horizontal and vertical directions. A multiplexer reads the digital correction data out of the digital memory, and implements the time division multiplexing for the data. A D/A converter receives the multiplexed data from the multiplexer, and converts it into an analog signal. The device is provided with sample-holding circuits for making coincident timing for the outputs of the time division multiplexing process, so that no phase shift arises at the time division process and multi-channel time division process is made possible.

  • Patent number: 4839739
Abstract: A one-dimensional image sensor comprising a solid image pick-up element takes images in sequence, and generates an image signal. Clock pulses from a frequency variable type clock pulse generator having a frequency which varies in correspondence to a control signal are supplied to a one-dimensional image sensor, thereby image signals are outputted in sequence. The image signal is amplified by an amplifier and inputted to a comparator and compared with a reference signal. A frequency variable range of the frequency variable type clock pulse generator is set higher than the cut-off frequency of the amplifier, and the binary level output by the comparator is substantially the same as the image inputted to the one-dimensional image sensor and control is effected by the variable frequency of the clock pulses.
