Abstract: The present invention relates to a solar cell having an edge collecting electrode comprising a semiconductor substrate having the main region and the edge region; a plurality of finger electrodes provided on the front surface and/or the rear surface of the substrate and arranged in the main region so as to be spaced apart in parallel; and a plurality of edge collecting electrodes provided in the edge region, wherein the edge region is provided at one end side or both end sides of the substrate, and an arrangement direction of the plurality of finger electrodes differs from an arrangement direction of the plurality of edge collecting electrodes, and a solar cell module comprising the same.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a solar cell having an edge collecting electrode and a solar cell module comprising the same, the solar cell being capable of preventing a cell crack phenomenon caused by an interconnector and improving an adhesive characteristic of the interconnector by dividing a planar area of the solar cell into a main area and an edge area and positioning the outermost contact point of the interconnector at a boundary between the main area and the edge area, and being capable of improving carrier collecting efficiency by arranging, in the edge area, the edge collecting electrode and the branched electrode connection collection electrode which are physically separated from the interconnector.
