Patents Assigned to Idec Izumi Corporation
  • Patent number: 7186932
Abstract: When an operator applies a removing force to turn a switch portion b in a direction C2, a projection a4 abuts against a slope b71 so that the removing force as a reaction is applied to the slope. The removing force is divided into a component working along the slope b71 and a component F working in a same direction as a center axis X. Thus, the removing force is converted into a force F in the same direction as the center axis X. By means of the force F in the same direction as the center axis X, a pushbutton support b6 is moved downward as accordingly moving a movable contacts b9 away from a fixed contacts b12 via a contact shaft b5.

  • Patent number: 7019227
Abstract: In a case where a left-hand push-button switch is ON, a second relay RL2 is electrically de-energized to open a normally close contact RL2-1 of the second relay RL2 so that a relay contact circuit RC is opened. If, in this state, a right-hand push-button switch is shifted to a second OFF state, a normally close contact R3-1 of the right-hand push-button switch is opened. Thus, a third relay RL3 is not electrically de-energized and a first and a second circuits are in cutoff until both the right-hand and the left-hand push-button switches are returned to a first OFF state.

  • Patent number: 6842123
Abstract: A switch assembly (1) comprises a push-button section (52) and a push-button body (53) as an operation transmitting member, an LED box (54) and a contact-making contact (56) as a direct functioning member, and a communication-function incorporating contact (communications contact) (55) as an information input/output functioning member, as permitting these components to be connected with each other. Therefore, the switch assembly can respond to an operation given to the push-button body (52) by causing the contact-making contact (56) to provide an output for switching between a conductive state and a non-conductive state and by causing the communications contact (55) to output an information signal to a network.

  • Patent number: 6670873
Abstract: When pressing a pushbutton (12) in this thin switch (40), the pushbutton (12) rotates at a constant stroke until a lower end of this pushbutton (12) on the side of a permanent magnet (16) comes into contact with a lower display panel (22). Following this rotation, positional relation between the permanent magnet (16) and a Hall element integrated circuit (44) corresponding to this pushbutton (12) changes and the Hall element integrated circuit (44) detects change of a magnetic field by the permanent magnet (16), whereby the pressing operation of the pushbutton (12) is detected. When the pushing operation is canceled, the pushbutton (12) is returned to the original state due to attractive force of the permanent magnet (16) and a magnetic body (18).

  • Patent number: 6627830
Abstract: A push-button switch and a teaching pendant employing the same are provided. The push-button switch ensures that a push button is capable of switching ON/OFF the switch if one of contacts thereof should fail during an operation of the switch. For achieving this object, a switch case 3 contains two c-contacts 9a, 9b each having a snap action configuration and switching mechanisms 11a, 11b for opening/closing the c-contacts 9a, 9b. When a push button 5 is depressed, the switching mechanisms 11a, 11b simultaneously open/close the c-contacts 9a, 9b for turning ON/OFF a push-button switch 1.

  • Patent number: 6415204
Abstract: A robots (210A, 210B), which is fixed onto a base (20, 20B) having a rectangular shape, has a mechanical hand (211A, 211B). A plurality of robot tools, each of which is freely attached to the tip of the mechanical hand (211A, 211B) for pinching a part, and a plurality of trays (6) each containing assembling jigs to be used for assembling parts, are brought in a movable range (RA, RB) of the robot, and the assembling tools are set at a predetermined position within the movable range (RA, RB). Then, an assembling job for the parts is carried out by using the assembling tools thus set. With this arrangement, the exchanging processes of the assembling tools can be carried out without depending on the human hands, even when the type of the assembly product is changed. Consequently, it becomes possible to efficiently carry out the manufacturing process of a small number of many types of products.

  • Patent number: RE37926
Abstract: A semiconductor light-emitting device which emits first light of a wavelength absorbed by a substance containing an OH group is sent toward a detection object. A semiconductor light-emitting device emits second visible light toward the detection object. A photoreceptor receives light from the detection object and acquires first and second received light-quantities derived from the respective ones of the first and second light. A processing system corrects the first photoreceiving quantity on the basis of the second photoreceiving quantity. The processing system determines the color of the detection object by the second photoreceiving quantity, and corrects the first photoreceiving quantity on the basis of this determination result. Further, it compares the corrected first photoreceiving quantity with a prescribed threshold value, detects whether or not water, which is the subject containing the OH group, is contained in the detection object, and outputs the same as an output signal.
