Abstract: Provided is a technique that allows extensively collecting genome information (specimens) from general persons other than patients, and allows effective utilization of the genome information. A server device provides a genome related service and includes a storage device that stores a program to provide the service and a processor that reads the program from the storage device and executes the program. The processor executes: a process that generates information that can be exchanged for value for predetermined settlement given to a specimen provider as a compensation for providing a specimen; and a process that associates genome information obtained through an analysis of the provided specimen and identification information of the specimen provider with the generated information that can be exchanged for value and stores the associated information in a database (see FIG. 1).
