Abstract: A spark trainer for welders comprises a welding electrode simulator, an electric spark generator connected to the electrode simulator, a welding object simulation unit, a spark discharge being produced between said welding object simulation unit and the tip of the welding electrode simulator in order to simulate the welding arc, a unit for monitoring the position of the tip of the electrode simulator in relation to the simulated welding object, a welding process control unit having its input connected to the electrode simulator tip position monitoring unit, electric spark generator, and a helmet with earphones.
