The cursor movement controller controls movement of the cursor on the basis of movement of the coordinate position. A character selector sets a character, with which the cursor is contacted, to a selection state. The character becomes a controlled object when a predetermined selection fixed operation is received, and the character selector keeps the selection state of the character when the fingertip is released.
