  • Patent number: 7228864
Abstract: Cosmetic brush (11) is extensibly received in cosmetic container to pick up cosmetic (2) from lid (1) without being damaged. Lid (1) is engaged with and disengaged from body (10) without fail. Body (10) is constructed of: lift sleeve (14) holding the brush (11); intermediate sleeve (15) with neck (17) cooperating with lid (1) to realize threadable engagement therebetween; and outer sleeve (25) with spiral groove (26) which is a part of a telescopic mechanism for extending and retracting the brush (11) from intermediate sleeve (15). Threadable engagement is larger in frictional resistance than the telescopic mechanism to make it possible: to move first the brush (11) when the lid (1) is rotated; and, then to disengage the lid (1) from intermediate sleeve (15) after the brush (11) press-contacts with the cosmetic (2) and is prevented from moving upward.

  • Patent number: 4858765
Abstract: There is disclosed a holder for a stick-type cosmetic case which has an end portion of which the transverse outer size is smaller than that of the other portion of the cosmetic case. The holder includes: a holder body; a cover member; and a slanting surface. The holder body includes bottom and a peripheral walls defining a hollow for receiving the cosmetic case. The peripheral wall includes front and rear portions. The cover member is pivotally connected to the rear portion of the peripheral wall so as to open and close the hollow. The slanting surface extends between the bottom wall and the rear portion of the peripheral wall. The slanting surface inclines in such a manner that its rear edge is positioned at a higher level than its front edge. The distance between the front edge of the slanting surface and the front portion of the peripheral wall is less than the length of the cosmetic case and not less than the length of the other portion of the cosmetic case.

  • Patent number: 4315724
Abstract: Process and machine for multi-color injection molding of plastic products having three-dimensional appearance of continuous or discontinuous multi-color patterns according to a preset program through injection of various kinds and/or colors of resins into a cavity, the resins being injected from at least three injection units, merged into and blended together in a molten resin mixing manifold. The multi-color injection molding machine has more than three injection units established around the molten resin mixing manifold. The manifold internally holds an arranging chamber, which received a resin from each injection unit and forms a compounded or layered resin flow. For the purpose of presenting intricate multi-color patterns according to a preset program, the arranging chamber is detachably mounted in the molten resin mixing manifold.
