  • Publication number: 20220320955
Abstract: The invention is a motor/generator that includes a motor/generator housing that encloses a rotor assembly, which rotates a shaft, and a stator assembly that remains stationary, and where the motor/generator is inside a vacuum chamber, which, during normal operation, is evacuated of gas and operates at a lower air pressure than atomospheric air pressure, and a cylindrical vacuum barrier between the rotor assembly and the stator assembly that together with the motor generator housing partitions the motor/generator into an interior rotor volume and an exterior stator volume, enabling the rotor volume and stator volume to operate at different atmospheric pressures.

  • Patent number: 11455909
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for using sensor devices to detect and monitor movement of a body. The sensor devices may be coupled to a body in a predefined arrangement, where a sensor device is positioned on a particular portion of the body in accordance with the predefined arrangement. The sensor devices measure a position of the portion of the body to which the band is secured during movement and communicate the position to a client device to be used in generating and updating a graphical representation of the movement performed in near-real-time. Further, the client device may determine whether the movement performed conforms to an ideal movement and, in response to the movement not conforming to the predefined movement, a suggested change in the movement can be identified that, if performed, would conform to the ideal movement.

  • Patent number: 11384000
Abstract: An adaptive electrokinetic dewatering system for dewatering slurry and soil deposits, including tailings deposits and a control system therefor. The control system automatically determines an optimal applied power specification, including sets of power parameters to be applied to the deposit being dewatered and when to apply each set of power parameters during the electrokinetic dewatering process. Furthermore, the control system automatically adjusts the applied power specification throughout the course of the dewatering process to account for the changing properties of the deposit. The control system determines the applied power specifications and adjustments to be made to them by simulating the electrokinetic dewatering process using a simulator which incorporates the latest measurements of the electrical, physical and chemical properties of the deposit being dewatered.
