Abstract: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for automatically turned off video playing, including the steps of monitoring whether there is a viewer before a screen during the playing of a video file; if monitoring that there is no viewer before the screen within a first time threshold, then pausing the now-playing video file playing; and determining whether the paused video file is resumed to play within a second time threshold; if yes, continuing to monitor whether there is a viewer before the screen; if no, turning off the video playing. Thereby, method and apparatus for automatically turned off video playing settled a problem of the video playing continues to play a media playing application when the viewer unconsciously falls asleep.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method, server, user terminal and system for key points prompt in a live broadcast, includes: receiving an acquisition value of environmental volume acquired in a site of activity in real time from an acquisition device; and comparing the acquisition value with a predetermined prompt threshold; if it is determined that the acquisition value is larger than the predetermined prompt threshold, recording the live broadcast time point corresponding to the acquisition value as a key point; generating a key point prompt notice and sending it to a user terminal; and the user terminal receiving the key point prompt notice to prompt the user.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and device for switching broadcast TV program to on-demand program, comprising the steps of: receiving a TV signal switching instruction; recording a current playing time of a current broadcasting TV program of broadcast TV signals; analyzing the TV program of broadcast TV signals and obtaining a VOD (Video on-Demand) pathway of network resource which matches with the TV program of broadcast TV signals; determining a target playing time point of a video program corresponding to a VOD pathway based on the current playing time; and acquiring the VOD pathway and starting to play a corresponding video program from the target playing time point.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and device for implementing a video application, the method including the steps of acquiring an instruction of clicking on a video search page in the video application; monitoring the light intensity before screen within a predetermined time and calculating the brightness value of the video search page based on the average light intensity within the predetermined time; and setting the brightness value of the video search page and displaying the video search page based on the obtained brightness value. Therefore, the method and device for implementing a video application overcome the problem of a dazzling feeling and discomfort for users when they open the video application and search in a video search page.

Abstract: A method and an electronic device for determining resource consumption of task is provided in the present disclosure. The method includes: obtaining task records of a cluster task, the task records including task processes started in executing the cluster task; calculating resource occupying time of a preset unit resource occupied by each of the task processes; counting a total resource occupying time of the preset unit resource occupied by a plurality of task processes started by the cluster task; and determining the cluster resources consumed in executing the cluster task, according to the total resource occupying time and the preset unit resource. The present disclosure is capable of determining cluster resources consumed when each cluster task is executed, so as to track resources consumed by a cluster task calculated in a cluster, per day.

Abstract: A video follow-play method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: acquiring video recommendation information directed to a user and history video play information of the user; setting, according to the video recommendation information and the history video play information, a video recommended to the user and played by the user as a video that needs follow-play; and updating a timestamp of the corresponding video when the video that needs follow-play is updated, and recommending the video of which the timestamp is updated to the user. According to the present disclosure, without establishing any update message notification mechanism and additionally storing updated video programs, a flexible and low-cost follow-play mechanism is implemented only by updating a timestamp of a video program.
