Abstract: A light fixture is provided having a mounting bracket and a light housing secured to the bracket. The bracket further includes a securing member for securing the bracket to a fixed surface, an extension projecting from a surface of the securing member, and a housing support placed at the end of the extension for supporting the light housing. The light housing has a receiver for placing over and mating around the housing support when the housing support is slid inside the receiver. To position the light housing on center with the bracket, a locating member connected to the bracket mates with and guides the light housing into a centered position. The light housing further includes a door and, when in a closed position, the door has a tab extending underneath the bracket such that the light housing cannot be removed from the bracket without opening the door.
