Abstract: A controlling method for a solid state drive is provided. The solid state drive includes a controlling circuit and a resistive random-access memory. Firstly, a monitor factor is defined. The monitor factor is associated with a life span of the resistive random-access memory. If the monitor factor is higher than a predetermined value, a mapping algorithm of a logical-to-physical table is established by the controlling circuit and a logical block address of a host is mapped to a physical allocation address by the controlling circuit according to the logical-to-physical table, and a data accessing action is performed.
Abstract: A method for image correction and image projection apparatus using the same are provided, where the image projection apparatus scans a projection light beam on a projection plane to form an image. The image correction method includes the following steps. A plurality of projection points of the projection light beam on the projection plane are sampled to define a projection coordinate system. An image projection area is defined on the projection coordinate system. The projection light beam is moved to scan on the projection plane and projected to the projection points sequentially. Whether the projection point is located in the image projection area is determined. When the projection point is located in the image projection area, a corrected image information is provided to the projection point.
Abstract: A portable electronic device with a projecting function and a projecting method are provided. The portable electronic device includes a posture sensor, a projection lens, and a controller. The posture sensor is used for detecting the orientation information of the portable electronic device. The projection lens is used for projecting a source image as a projection image. The controller is electrically connected with the posture sensor and the projection lens for judging an orientation status of the portable electronic device according to the orientation information. According to the orientation status of the portable electronic device, an approach of producing the projection image is correspondingly adjusted.
Abstract: A data transmission control method for a storage device is provided. The storage device is in communication with a host through a SATA bus. The data transmission control method includes the following steps. Firstly, a X_RDY primitive is issued from the storage device to the host. After a R_RDY primitive from the host is received by the from the storage device, a first frame is transmitted to the host. After the first frame is completely transmitted and in a specified time period before a second frame is transmitted, plural SYNC primitives are issued from the storage device to the host. If the host does not issue the X_RDY primitive in the specified time period, the second frame is transmitted to the host.
Abstract: A processing system capable of connecting to a computer device comprising a second processing unit is provided. The processing system comprises a first processing unit and a first storage unit. The first storage unit is coupled to the first processing unit for storing at least a first programming code and a second programming code. At a first time point, the first processing unit accesses the first programming code from the first storage unit to set the processing system. At a second time point after the first time point, the first processing unit receives an instruction from the second processing unit and transfers the second programming code to the second processing unit in response to the instruction. The second processing unit controls the processing system with the second programming code.
Abstract: A control method for a nonvolatile memory device with a vertically stacked structure is provided. The nonvolatile memory device includes a substrate, a common source line formed on the substrate, and plural memory blocks disposed over the substrate. Each memory block includes a cell string connected between a bit line and the common source line. Firstly, a first memory block of the plural memory blocks is selected as an active memory block, and one of the remaining memory blocks is selected as a second memory block. Then, a ground voltage is provided to the bit line of the second memory block, and the cell string of the second memory block is conducted, so that the ground voltage is transmitted from the bit line to the common source line through the cell string.

The angle detection circuit includes a capacitance sensing unit, a low-pass filter amplifier unit and an angle determination unit. The capacitance sensing unit is coupled to a mirror electrode of the electrostatic MEMS scanning minor for sensing an equivalent capacitance of the electrostatic MEMS scanning mirror and providing a capacitance sensing signal. The low-pass filter amplifier unit is coupled to the capacitance sensing unit for receiving the capacitance sensing signal and providing a position signal. The angle determination unit is coupled to the low-pass filter amplifier unit for receiving the position signal, and determines a rotation angle of the mirror electrode of the electrostatic MEMS scanning mirror to provide an angle signal.
Abstract: The invention provides a driving calibration apparatus of an electrostatic MEMS scanning mirror and a driving calibration method thereof The driving calibration method includes the following steps. Different reference voltages are sequentially set to drive a plane mirror of the electrostatic MEMS scanning mirror to swing. Projection positions on a projected surface corresponding to the reference voltages that the laser beam projects to are determined. A driving lookup table is established according to the reference voltages and the corresponding projection positions. Calibrated driving voltages corresponding to ideal projection positions are determined according to the driving lookup table. The pane mirror is driven to swing according to the calibrated driving voltages.

Abstract: A solid state storage device and sensing voltage setting method thereof are provided, and the method includes following steps. A predetermined read voltage of the memory cells is adjusted to obtain a plurality of detection read voltages. The predetermined read voltage and the detection read voltages are respectively applied to a plurality of memory cells in order to read a plurality of verification bit data. A plurality of statistical parametric values between the predetermined read voltage and the detection read voltages adjacent to each other is calculated and recorded according to the verification bit data corresponding to the predetermined read voltage and the detection read voltages. An optimized read voltage is obtained according to the statistical parametric values.
Abstract: An image projection apparatus and an image projection method are provided. The image projection apparatus includes a projection light source, a scanning module, a reflection mirror and an optical detector. The projection light source provides a projection light beam and the scanning module drives the projection light beam to scan along at least an axial direction. The reflection mirror is located on a scan path of the projection light beam. The optical detector detects the projection light beam reflected by the reflection mirror and generates synchronous signals. The image projection apparatus determines a scanning frequency of the projection light beam according to the synchronous signals.

Abstract: The present invention provides a micro projector device including a MEMS mirror, a laser source module, a detection module, and a control unit. The MEMS mirror has a first portion and a second portion, the first portion pivots to the second portion, and the first portion oscillates in relation to the second portion. The laser source module generates a laser light to a reflection plane of the first portion of the MEMS mirror. The detection module detects a capacitance value between the first portion and the second portion. The control unit determines the relative position between the first portion and the second portion according to the capacitance value, and provides image data to the laser source module according to the relative position. The reflection plane of the first portion is configured to reflect the laser light from the laser source module to a projection plane.

Abstract: An electronic device with a solid state drive and associated control method are provided. The electronic device includes: a host; a power supply component, for providing electric power to the host and the solid state drive; and the solid state drive including a control unit electrically connected to the host through a bus, a cache memory electrically connected to the control component, and a flash memory electrically connected to the control component. When a remaining power of the power supply component decreases to a threshold value, the host controls the solid state drive to enter a data secure mode and disables the cache memory; and when the remaining power of the power supply component is above the threshold value, the host controls the solid state drive to enter a high performance mode and enables the cache memory.
Abstract: The present invention provides a projecting device including a movement detecting unit, an image processing unit, and a projection module. The movement detecting unit is configured to detect displacement information of the projecting device. The image processing unit is configured to receive an image data frame, adjust a position of the image data frame related to a virtual image frame according to the displacement information, and generate a projection frame according to the intersection between the image data frame and the virtual image frame. The projection module is configured to project the projection frame on a projection plane.

Abstract: A solid state storage device and controlling method thereof are provided, and the method includes following steps. Data is programmed into a flash memory module by using a first programming scheme. A data error parameter of the flash memory module is determined. If the data error parameter is greater than an error predefine value, the data is programmed into the flash memory module by using a second programming scheme. The first programming scheme and the second programming scheme are respectively mapping to a first threshold voltage frame and a second threshold voltage frame, and voltage interval of the second threshold voltage frame is broader than voltage interval of the first threshold voltage frame.
Abstract: A managing method for a cache memory of a solid state drive includes the following steps. When the solid state drive decides to perform a garbage collection, a storing space of the cache memory is divided into plural storing portions. A first storing portion of the cache memory is set as a buffering unit for a garbage collection purpose. A second storing portion of the cache memory is set as a buffering unit for a writing purpose.

Abstract: A garbage collection control method for a solid state drive includes the following steps. Firstly, when a garbage collection is started by the solid state drive, a type of a write command from a host is judged. If the write command is not a sequential write command, a first type garbage collection is performed for obtaining a released space smaller than one free block space from a flash memory, and the write command is executed to store a write data into the flash memory. If the write command is the sequential write command, a second type garbage collection is performed for obtaining a released space larger than one free block space from the flash memory, and the write command is executed to store the write data into the flash memory.
