Abstract: A method includes receiving audio signal features generated by neural network feature extraction, identifying a vehicle type by neural network feature recognition, and determining a risk level of a vehicle driver based on the vehicle type. A computing system includes a processor and a memory storing instructions that when executed cause the computing system to receive audio signal features generated by neural network feature extraction, identify a vehicle type by neural network feature recognition, and determine a risk level of a vehicle driver based on the vehicle type. A non-transitory computer readable medium contains instructions that when executed cause a computer to receive audio signal features generated by neural network feature extraction, identify a vehicle type by neural network feature recognition layer and determine a risk level of a vehicle driver based on the vehicle type.
Abstract: Various methods and apparatus related to gaming are described. Some embodiments relate to a multi-tiered game involving multiple participants. Some embodiments relate to players from a plurality of gaming operators playing games with one another. Other embodiments are described.
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for using first and second nodes in a network-connected interactive environment. User content is obtained via a client computing device and rendered onto the first and second node such that secondary content thereof is stored onto other media. This facilitates regeneration and other orderly migration of a particular node transplanted to another environment.
Abstract: Adapting database queries from a common interface into conditions specific to database storage formats, optimization of a data model, and virtualization of query results from combined databases.
Abstract: A bath tub 100 for neonatal bathing including a backrest 112 that provides support for the baby at an inclined position, and a seat 152 to cooperate with the backrest 112 to flex the baby's hips to suppress the baby's urge to sit up or squirm. Embodiments may include side supports 136, 138 and/or stabilizer ribs 166, 168 to resist baby rotation about the seat 152. The tub 100 may be structured to reduce leverage to the baby to resist baby's turning over during a bath. A drain path 180 is desirably provided to maintain thermal equilibrium in the water during a bath. A system 240 may include a plurality of bathing accessories and a disposable sterile liner 264 to permit reuse of the tub 100, and/or an optional storage bag 268 to store the tub 100, and even a system 240, at a convenient location.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a system receives vehicle information from one or more ADVs. The system determines a location and a heading of each ADV from the vehicle information of the ADV. For each of the ADVs, the system determines if the ADV is approaching a traffic light junction based on the location and the heading of the ADV. The system sends the vehicle information of the ADVs to a traffic light control system in response to determining the ADV is approaching the traffic light junction, where the vehicle information is used by the traffic light control system to direct a traffic flow at the traffic light junction, including adjusting a time duration of a light signal at one or more traffic lights disposed at the traffic light junction in advance of the ADVs arriving at the traffic light junction.
Abstract: A system and method for operating a casino-style video game with a matching feature whereby players seek to group like game icons with one another. The system may use multiple pay tables with a relevant pay table being selected based on the number of grouped game icons forming a winning pattern such that the greater the number of matched or grouped game icons, the greater the return to player (RTP) associated with the corresponding pay table.

Abstract: A non-volatile memory system comprises a memory structure and a control circuit connected to the memory structure. The control circuit is configured to control the non-volatile memory structure to perform memory operations by generating and applying a set of control signals to the non-volatile memory structure The control circuit includes a programmable and reprogrammable microcontroller. For example, the microcontroller includes one or more processors that are programmed using software (e.g., firmware). The use of a programmable processor and software allows for updates and changes to be made easily. Additionally, to reduce the time taken to make some calculations, the microcontroller also includes one or more combinational logic circuits that are in communication with the one or more processors.
Abstract: A fabric made of yarns interlooping with each other or passing through an inner layer at looping intervals. The fabric is embossed with a micro-pattern extending into the yarns or into a layer underneath the fabric. The micro-pattern contains a pre-defined pattern of a plurality of binding points attaching the yarns to the inner layer or to the added underlayer. This micro-pattern has an inter-point spacing between adjacent binding points that is less than the interlooping intervals. The fabric can also be embossed with a macro-pattern separate from and coarser than the micro-pattern. The macro-pattern establishes a desired aesthetic in the fabric, and the micro-pattern does not interfere with the desired aesthetic.

Abstract: An assembly comprises a first liquid guide having an inlet, an outlet, and a liquid-conducting layer comprising a first material. The liquid-conducting layer extends between the inlet and the outlet. A second liquid guide has an inlet, an outlet, and a liquid-conducting layer comprising a second material. The liquid-conducting layer extends between the inlet and the outlet. At least a portion of the liquid-conducting layer of the second liquid guide overlaps the liquid-conducting layer of the first liquid guide such that, when a first liquid flows along the liquid-conducting layer of the first liquid guide and a second liquid flows along the liquid-conducting layer of the second liquid guide, the second liquid contacts the first liquid along the portion of the liquid-conducting layer of the second liquid guide that overlaps the liquid-conducting layer of the first liquid guide.
