    Abstract: A convertible baby carrier backpack system enables using a backpack portion as a backpack alone, a baby carrier portion as a baby carrier alone, or coupling the two portions together to form an integrated baby carrier backpack. A back panel is opposite the shoulder straps and configured away from a carrier when used as a baby carrier, while the carrier panel is configured proximal to the carrier when used as a baby carrier. An exemplary baby carrier portion has a carrier attachment feature configured on the back panel that enables detachable attachment of a backpack. The first component may communicate a challenge message directed to the second system component and if the contents of the reply message and the time taken to receive the reply message do not correspond to expected values, the first component may determine that it may not be communicating with the intended second component and may cease communications with the second component.

The cryostat is operative to generate radicals within the substance by exposing the substance to electromagnetic radiation. The polarizer is operative to hyperpolarize the substance via the radicals. Once the substance is polarized, the radicals contained within the substance are quenched by adjusting a temperature of the substance to greater than or equal to a melting point of the substance. In embodiments, the polarizer may then rapidly freeze the substance.

A mobile device may be equipped with speech recognition and voice prompting to enable a concussion examination of a player to be administered by another player or coach to the injured player without significant effort by the injured player or helper. Each test may be scored, by itself or against one or more baselines for the injured player to develop an overall score and likelihood of a concussion. When the coach thinks there is a concussion, he/she can use the application to help find a doctor.

Providing the only access pathway into the bag is a sterilizing filter appliance which filters all fluid entering the bag and provides a nozzle for dispensing into bottles disposed in the tray. The key convenience kit apparatus is sterilized prior to use, assuring all components disposed within the bag are within a desired sterility assurance level. The sterilized state of items associated with the key apparatus is maintained by the single pathway for fluid. Capping and sealing the bottles before opening the bag permits delivery of sterile product for use outside the bag.

    Abstract: When reviewing digital pathology tissue specimens, multiple slides may be created from thin, sequential slices of tissue. These slices may then be prepared with various stains and digitized to generate a Whole Slide Image (WSI). Review of multiple WSIs is challenging because of the lack of homogeneity across the images. In embodiments, to facilitate review, WSIs are aligned with a multi-resolution registration algorithm, normalized for improved processing, annotated by an expert user, and divided into image patches. The image patches may be used to train a Machine Learning model to identify features useful for detection and classification of regions of interest (ROIs) in images. The trained model may be applied to other images to detect and classify ROIs in the other images, which can aid in navigating the WSIs. When the resulting ROIs are presented to the user, the user may easily navigate and provide feedback through a display layer.
