Abstract: Disclosed is a shoe having a compressible lattice structure in a heel portion to facilitate rapid, easy donning and doffing of shoes. In example embodiments, the lattice structure includes a plurality of interconnected, overlapping, intersecting and/or woven ribs defining a plurality of apertures. The lattice structure has an open position in which the shoe opening is expanded to facilitate reception of a foot of an individual wearing the rapid-entry shoe, and a closed position in which the shoe opening is smaller to retain the foot within the rapid-entry shoe.

Abstract: Magnet wire included extruded insulation formed from a blend of two or more different polymeric materials is described. A magnet wire may include a conductor and insulation formed around the conductor. The insulation may include at least one layer of extruded insulation formed from a blend of a first polymeric material and a second polymeric material different than the first polymeric material. The first polymeric material may include one of polyetheretherketone, polyaryletherketone, polyetherketoneketone, polyphenylsulfone, polyphenylene sulfide, or polybenzimidazole. The second polymeric material may include one of polyphenylsulfone, polyetherimide, polyethersulfone, polyphenylene sulfide, polycarbonate, or polyester.

Abstract: A current sensor integrated circuit to sense a current through a resistor includes a substrate, a tub disposed in the substrate, an analog front end disposed in the tub and comprising an amplifier having inputs coupled across the resistor and a charging circuit configured to bias the analog front end and the tub to a bias voltage that is a predetermined offset voltage greater than a common mode voltage associated with the resistor. In embodiments, the analog front end is biased to a first bias voltage and the tub is biased to a second, different bias voltage.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure disclose provide systems and methods for updating, or patching, encrypted image files located at a remote location. More specifically, a content update package that includes encrypted information is received and decrypted. Based on the content update package, a first portion of data in an encrypted image file is located, where the first portion data is to be decrypted and updated based on data in the content update package. The updated data may then be encrypted, verified, and stored. When the updating, or patching, process is complete, the file version located at the remote location is the same as the latest file version. In addition, the updating, or patching, process may be split between multiple operating systems.

Abstract: Systems and methods for cryoablation of a tissue. In at least one embodiment of a cryoablation system of the present disclosure, the cryoablation system comprises an expandable stent comprising a proximal end and a distal end, a sidewall defining a lumen extending between the proximal end and the distal end, and a cryoablation chamber at the distal end, the expandable stent configured to permit blood flow therethrough, and a cryoablation device comprising at least one coolant tube at least partially positioned within the cryoablation chamber, wherein the at least one coolant tube is operable to produce a cryogenic environment sufficient to ablate at least a portion of a tissue engaged within the cryoablation chamber.

Abstract: A system for deploying a prosthesis over a Carina between an ipsilateral lumen and a contralateral lumen includes a guidewire, a guidewire capture catheter, a self-expanding tubular prosthesis, and a delivery catheter. The guidewire is first placed in the ipsilateral lumen. The guidewire capture catheter is then advanced from the contralateral lumen to a position at or above the ipsilateral lumen. The guidewire is typically advanced through an occlusion, which may be a total occlusion, and captured by a capture element on the guidewire capture catheter. The guidewire capture catheter pulls the guidewire out through the contralateral side, and the guidewire is used to advance a delivery catheter from the ipsilateral side. The delivery catheter delivers a first segment of the tubular prosthesis in the ipsilateral lumen and a second segment of the prosthesis in the contralateral lumen.

The method further includes covering the patient's mouth with the face strip and providing resistance from the face strip at the patient's mouth, and increasing nasal respiration with the face strip. The face strip reduces or prevents the incidence of the breathing condition.

Abstract: A graphene reinforced polyethylene terephthalate composition is provided for forming graphene-PET containers. The graphene reinforced polyethylene terephthalate composition includes a continuous matrix comprising polyethylene terephthalate and a dispersed reinforcement phase comprising graphene nanoplatelets. The graphene nanoplatelets range in diameter between 5 ?m and 10 ?m with surface areas ranging from about 15 m2/g to about 150 m2/g. In some embodiments, the graphene reinforced polyethylene terephthalate comprises a concentration of graphene nanoplatelets being substantially 3% weight fraction of the graphene reinforced polyethylene terephthalate. The graphene reinforced polyethylene terephthalate is configured to be injection molded into a graphene-PET preform suitable for forming a container. The graphene-PET preform is configured to be reheated above its glass transition temperature and blown into a mold so as to shape the graphene-PET preform into the container.

Abstract: A system and method for controllably varying the thickness of film deposition on a spherical or other non-flat substrate during high volume manufacturing is described. A gripping X-Y transfer stage rotates a substrate in-situ in a direction film deposition chamber. The transfer stage is driven at variable speeds to realize a desired distribution of film thickness variation around the surface of the substrate. Spatial variations in disposition thickness can be smoothly and continuously variable or abruptly changed.

Abstract: An electronic lockbox uses a rotary actuator with multiple positions to achieve multiple locking states. Multiple positions of the actuator are detected, using optical sensors. The locking mechanism includes an outer sleeve and an inner cylindrical barrel that are coupled with torsion springs. The lockbox has a shackle and a key bin that are retained by the inner barrel when in the locked state, and the barrel can be rotated to either release the shackle or to release the key bin that typically holds a building's key.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system for performing an experiment strategy for member-based ramping. During operation, the system divides members of an online system into a control group and a treatment group. Next, the system configures delivery of content to the control group over a first set of channels that charge for actions related to the content and delivery of the content to the treatment group over a second set of channels that charge for the actions related to the content, wherein the second set of channels is smaller than the first set of channels. The system then performs a first experiment that selects an adjustment factor for content delivered over the second set of channels to the treatment group to achieve revenue neutrality and/or engagement neutrality between the treatment and control groups.

Abstract: A panel mount connector includes a housing that mounts to a panel from a terminal side of the panel and a terminal module that is configured to be supported by and inserted in a channel in the housing from a cable side of the panel. A secondary piece can be used to secure the terminal module to the housing and provide sufficient structure robustness while allowing for ease of assembly and disassembly.
