Abstract: A voice prosthesis insertion device includes an elongated body having an aperture therein extending axially along the elongated body. The elongated body includes a ring member at one end that is supported by a pair of straps. The elongated body has at least one region that is increasing in cross section. The elongated body further having a collapsible portion defined by a pair of openings in the elongated body. A rod is disposed in the aperture of the elongated body and including a peg adapted to be inserted into an aperture of a tether of a voice prosthesis device. The collapsible portion of the elongated body is flexible to allow the collapsible portion to be longitudinally collapsed to expose the peg of the rod for easy engagement with the strap of the voice prosthesis and the collapsible portion is extendable from the collapsed position to extend over the peg.

Abstract: A system includes hardware processors and a non-transitory memory storing instructions that, when executed by the hardware processors, causes the hardware processors to perform actions including receiving an input data set related to digital content, where the input data set includes a plurality of input entries. The actions also include matching one or more input words of each input entry of the plurality of input entries to one or more baseline words of one or more baseline entries of a baseline data set and generating an output data set including a plurality of output entries. Each respective input entry corresponds to a respective output entry of the plurality of output entries, and each respective output entry includes a baseline entry of the one or more baseline entries having a highest probability of matching the respective input entry and additional data associated with the respective input entry.

Abstract: An apparatus enabling a user to perform a simulated bicycling exercise includes a frame, two mounting points defining an axis, the two mounting points comprising an upper rear mounting point comprising an upper rear rotating joint and a lower front mounting point comprising a pivoting connection arrangement proximate to and interacting with the frame, the pivoting connection arrangement comprising at least one resistive element configured to provide resistive force returning the frame to a neutral centered orientation from an off-centered orientation and pedals associated with a wheel and the frame, the pedals enabling the user, when facing forward, to apply force to the pedals and rotate the wheel. The frame is configured to receive forces from the user and dissipate the forces into frame leaning forces such that the user has an ability to cause the frame to pivot about the two mounting points by leaning to one side.

Abstract: A method for treating a breathing condition includes providing a face strip having an adhesive layer and a mesh layer disposed on the adhesive layer and applying the adhesive layer to a mouth of a patient diagnosed with a breathing condition including at least one of a dry mouth, a sore throat, nasal congestion, or hypoxia. The method further includes covering the patient's mouth with the face strip and providing resistance from the face strip at the patient's mouth, and increasing nasal respiration with the face strip. The face strip reduces or prevents the incidence of the breathing condition.

Abstract: An insulating container can be configured to retain a volume of liquid, and include a canister having a first inner wall having a first end having an opening extending into an internal reservoir, and a second outer wall forming an outer shell. The opening can be sealed by a spout adapter, the spout adapter having an internal passageway extending between the internal reservoir and a spout opening, which may be smaller than the opening of the canister. The spout opening may be sealed with an upper cap that has a magnetic top surface. The upper cap may be selectively coupled to seal the spout opening, or may be magnetically coupled to a magnetic docking surface of a docking structure on the spout adapter.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and articles of manufacture for learning design policies based on user interactions. One example includes determining a first task for an environment, receiving data from a plurality of data sources, determining a first time step associated with the received data, determining a plurality of candidate actions for the determined first time step, computing a respective probability value of each candidate action achieving the first task at the first time step based on a first machine learning (ML) model, determining that a first candidate action has a greater probability value for achieving the first task at the first time step relative to the remaining plurality of candidate actions, determining that the first candidate action has not been implemented in the environment at the first time step, and generating an indication specifying to implement the first candidate action as part of a policy to achieve the first task.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed are directed to an immutable database in a data processing system for tracking a data state of the data processing system using multiple timelines or temporal sequences representing events occurring in the data processing system. The immutable database may maintain a current temporal sequence representing an existing data state of the data processing system and generate alternate temporal sequences representing an alternate data state of the data processing system. The alternate temporal sequence may be used to test retroactive events that are intended to replace or correct events that occurred in the current temporal sequence.

Abstract: System and methods for management of third party satellite radio activation/deactivation by a vehicle rental service company, wherein satellite radio services may be provided in a rental car when requested by a customer. The systems and methods will enable activation of a satellite radio shortly before or at the start of the rental period, and activation may be altered by the vehicle rental service company in the event that the rental period is shortened or extended, or if the vehicle is exchanged. The systems and methods deactivate the satellite radio service at the end of the rental period. The systems and methods may also be used to activate or deactivate other equipment or services made available via a vehicle rental service company in response to a customer request.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-storage media, for managing geospatial boundaries. In some implementations, an identification of a user is scanned. Based on the scan, information corresponding to the user is retrieved. The user is then registered using the retrieved information corresponding to the user. Location data is obtained. A determination is made that the user is proximate to a geographic boundary. The location data and at least a portion of the information corresponding to the user is transmitted to an access control system.

The accessory interface further includes detection circuitry selectively coupled to the plurality of communication lines via a multiplexer and configured to detect analog voltage levels across the plurality of communication lines, determine a device type of the electronic accessory device based on the detected analog voltage levels, and control the multiplexer to couple the plurality of communication lines to a host processor of the electronic host device upon determining the device type of the electronic accessory device. The host processor is configured to receive the device type of the electronic accessory device and transmit data via the plurality of communication lines to the electronic accessory device in accordance with the device type of the electronic accessory device.

The processor may also identify which of a plurality of groups of permissions includes the permissions the entity used to perform the identified activities and may determine permutations of the identified plurality of groups of permissions. The processor may further calculate respective scores for each of the determined permutations to identify permutations of the groups of permissions having the lowest scores and may output information pertaining to the determined permutations having the lowest scores.
