Abstract: Described herein is an identity network for authenticating a user for a relying party and providing access to the user's credit report. The identity network may receive an unlock request for the digital identity and credit report of a user from a relying party. In response, the identity network may provide an identity provider link for accessing the identity provider application. The user may login to the identity provider application and provide consent for obtaining the user's credit report. The identity provider provides the identity network with verification of the digital identity of the user and the consent response from the user. The identity network can request access from a credit reporting agency and receive a credit report key in response. The identity network can provide the credit report key to the relying party, which can use the key to access the user's credit report from the credit reporting agency.

Abstract: A pillow includes a pillow cushion consisting essentially of a gelatinous elastomer that is sized and configured to support a head and neck of a person using the pillow cushion. The pillow cushion has a first major surface, a second major surface, and deformable wall members extending between the first major surface and the second major surface. The deformable wall members are located and configured to define voids therebetween such that the deformable wall members may be displaced into adjacent voids upon deformation of the deformable wall members. The deformable wall members are configured to buckle when a pressure applied to a cushioning surface of the pillow cushion, in a direction perpendicular to the first major surface, exceeds a threshold pressure level. A pillow cover covers the pillow cushion. A method of fabricating a pillow includes enclosing such a cushion in a pillow cover.

Abstract: The present system is for integrated management of associated gas and produced water at oil well extraction sites. The system includes a controller that makes gas allocation determination (e.g., directs conditioned gas to (i) gas flare, (ii) produced water reduction system, and/or (iii) generator) when a change in conditioned gas flow is detected based on first plurality of inputs. If the conditioned gas is directed to the generator, then the controller makes an electricity allocation determination (e.g., (i) increase a data processing operating rate on a data processing server, (ii) start up idle data processing equipment, (iii) direct generated electric current to a power grid, and/or (iv) charge a storage battery) based on second plurality of inputs. By operating the system of gas consumption and electricity production/consumption in an integrated fashion, benefits of flaring prevention, resource conversation, and more efficient economic operations are optimized to a degree not previously attainable.

Abstract: Systems and methods for driver presence and position detection are disclosed herein. A method can include determining a presence and a position of a driver in a sensing zone of a vehicle using a sensor platform integrated into the vehicle, determining when the position of the driver indicates that the driver is not in a fully-seated position relative to a driver's seat of the vehicle, and selectively adjusting a vehicle parameter of the vehicle based on the driver not being in a fully-seated position.

Abstract: A method and device for accurately monitoring, displaying, and remote reporting of turbulent material flow streams in confined channels and pipes is provided. The device can have multiple cams coupled to an obstruction, and a spring. The multiple cams can have a cam profile, and the cam profile and the spring may be selected to linearize a rotation of the obstruction over a range of fluid flow velocities. The obstruction can include have multiple obstructions each in a different area of a cross-section of a pipe, improving the accuracy of the device.

Abstract: An acoustic ceiling baffle that includes a baffle body and one or more attachment mechanisms disposed on a top edge of the baffle body configured to couple and decouple from a runner of a ceiling suspension system. The attachment mechanisms include a recessed portion that receives the runner. The recessed portion includes a first section and a second section with an opening disposed between the first section and the second section. The first section is configured to engage with a face of the runner when the acoustic ceiling baffle is coupled to the runner. The attachment mechanism further includes a first retention member and a second retention member formed around the recessed portion, each retention member comprising a bottom edge that is configured to engage with a top surface of a face of the runner.

Abstract: Guardrail, guardrail terminal, and support post designs that improve control of a vehicle during collisions are described. The disclosed designs also reduce the likelihood of intrusion into vehicle systems and the occupant compartment(s). Embodiments include folding and/or flattening of the guardrail and controlling the folded and flattened guardrail to avoid intrusion into the vehicle. Other embodiments include containing the guardrail in an impact head of a guardrail terminal, which also avoids vehicle intrusion.

Abstract: A Mass Flow Sensor (MFS) is provided and includes an MFS housing, a mounting structure, having a mounting structure top and a mounting structure bottom, wherein the MFS housing is associated with the mounting structure top, a first sensor leg, wherein the first sensor leg extends away from the mounting structure bottom and includes a first temperature measurement device and a heating element. The MFS further includes a second sensor leg, wherein the second sensor leg extends away from the mounting structure and includes a second temperature measurement device and an airfoil structure, wherein the airfoil structure defines an airfoil cavity and is associated with the mounting structure bottom to contain the first sensor leg and the second sensor leg.

The system includes a battery cell, an external casing encapsulating the battery cell and including a casing vent, and an outgassing filter disposed upon the casing vent and including a filter element including a first filter element portion operable to contain a first size of particulate matter and a second filter element portion operable to contain a second size of particulate matter relatively smaller than the first size of particulate matter.

Abstract: Methods and systems for manipulating surface topology of additively manufactured fluid interacting structures, such as additively manufactured heat exchangers or airfoils, and associated additively manufactured articles, are disclosed. In one aspect, an article which interacts with a fluid is imparted with surface topology features which affect performance parameters related to the fluid flow. The topological features may be sequenced, combined, intermixed, and functionally varied in size and form to locally manipulate and co-optimize multiple performance parameters at each or selectable differential lengths along a flow path. The co-optimization method may uniquely prioritize selectable performance parameters at different points along the flow path to improve or enhance overall system performance.

Abstract: An apparatus including a circuit, a temperature sensor, a sensor and a control system. The circuit may be configured to receive an input signal and a configuration signal and generate an output signal in response to performing an upconversion of the input signal to a selected frequency band and an amplification of the input signal in response to the configuration signal. The temperature sensor may be configured to measure a temperature. The sensor may be configured to measure a sensor value. The control system may be configured to generate the configuration signal in response to the temperature and the sensor value. The configuration signal may be generated to maintain a gain of the amplification at a target level over a range of an operating condition during the upconversion. The target level of the gain for the operating condition may be determined in response to a pre-determined calculation.

Abstract: Anomalies in network traffic are detected using machine learning. A plurality of machine learning models is employed to determine whether there are anomalies in network traffic of an MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) network that can affect the performance of devices in the network. A first machine learning model is trained on network traffic passed through network tunnels of a plurality of routers in the network. A second machine learning model is trained on router-specific network traffic passed through router-specific network traffic for a subset of the network tunnels associated with a particular router. The first machine learning model is employed to determine a network anomaly, and the second machine learning model is employed to determine a router-specific anomaly. A router error is identified when both a network anomaly and a router-specific anomaly are determined. An indication of the router error is communicated to a computing device.

Abstract: A method for synthesizing a purified lithium (Li)+ anion binding agent (ABA-F)? salt and the corresponding Li+(ABA-F)? are disclosed. The method includes dissolving a boron-based acid in a polar solvent to form a solution. The solution is refluxed to form an anion binding agent. A stoichiometric amount of a small fluorinated salt, such as LiF, is added to the anion binding agent to form a mixture. The mixture is subsequently crystallized to obtain a substantially pure Li+(ABA-F)? salt. Example purified Li+(ABA-F)? salts include Ox-Li+(ABA-F), m-Li+(ABA-F), and BF3—Li+(ABA-F)?. These purified Li+(ABA-F)? salts provide the benefits of increased battery thermal safety without loss of electrochemical performance.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a therapeutic composition including an active therapeutic ingredient combined with a liquid or solution based carbonated beverage. The invention as described details the use or administration of the therapeutic composition so as to treat a variety of ailments. The present invention is also directed to a method of administering the therapeutic composition to an individual for the purposes of alleviating an ailment. In a further arrangement, the therapeutic composition is provided to a user as a pre-packaged volume containing a single effective dose of the therapeutic agent.

A shock absorber is connected between the base and the frame. A linkage assembly is pivotably connected between the base and the first portion of the frame.

The capability information may include information indicating support for an Ethernet type packet data unit session or header parameter compression. An Ethernet type packet data unit session may be instantiated based on the capability information.

Abstract: The optical system includes a base having a groove and an adjacent slot therein. The system also includes at least one optical cell slidably alignable along the groove, and at least one clamp comprising a lower end and an upper end. The lower end is slidably alignable along the slot and is secured at a set location so that the upper end secures the at least one optical cell along the groove. The slot may extend parallel to the groove. The clamp may include at least one preloaded fastener arrangement securing the lower end of the clamp to the base. The preloaded fastener may include a bolt, a spring biasing the bolt, and a threaded backing plate within the slot and receiving the bolt.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed of detection and analysis of network-based assets under common management by an entity. Network-based assets that are under common management by an entity may be owned or associated with the entity. Some network assets may appear to be under the common management of an entity, but may be operated by an unauthorized entity. Detecting a relationship between or ownership of network assets for malicious network activity may be a challenge. Specifically, the connection between authorized assets and unauthorized assets may be difficult to identify, especially if assets are masked or changed to evade detection. A network analytic system is disclosed that can process different data from multiple sources (e.g., at least multiple, disparate data sources) to identify relationships between network-based assets.
