Abstract: A method of producing a workpiece includes obtaining CAD data representing the workpiece in multiple workpiece layers. The CAD data includes multiple workpiece layer definitions corresponding respectively to the workpiece layers. The method includes selecting a first workpiece layer definition, preparing a powder bed of powder material on a build platform, and producing, based on the selected workpiece layer definition, a workpiece layer on the build platform by controlling a layer tool to selectively melt or sinter the powder material on the build platform. The method includes assessing the produced workpiece layer, including measuring the produced workpiece layer using a measuring head, analyzing the measurements of the produced workpiece layer, and, in response to the analysis indicating that the produced workpiece layer is defective, reprocessing the produced workpiece layer by controlling the layer tool to selectively melt or sinter the powder material on the build platform.

Abstract: A wireless device may receive one or more configuration parameters indicating a single frequency network (SFN) scheme. The wireless device may further receive a command activating at least two transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for a control resource set (coreset). The wireless device may monitor, via the coreset, downlink control channels based on the at least two active TCI states and determine a radio link quality based on the at least two active TCI states of the coreset, when the one or more configuration parameters indicate the SFN scheme. The wireless device may further transmit an uplink signal indicating the radio failure, when the radio link quality indicates a radio failure.

Abstract: A sparse matrix representation of image or video data for encoding or decoding uses a boundary of non-zero coefficients within the image or video data. A bounding box encloses each non-zero coefficient within an image or video block. The coefficients enclosed within the bounding box are encoded to a bitstream along with dimensional information usable to identify the bounding box within the image or video block during decoding. Coefficients not enclosed within the bounding box are not specifically encoded within the bitstream. The dimensional information represents one or more of a shape, size, or position within the image or video block of the bounding box. The bounding box may be identified according to a scan order used to process the coefficients within the image or video block. The bounding box may be rectangular or non-rectangular.

Abstract: Disclosed are various examples for enrolling a client device and synchronizing user attributes for the client device across multiple directory services. A search request for user attributes can be sent to a first directory service with an identifier for a user account. The first directory service can query for the identifier and send back user attributes. If a global identifier is included in the attributes, another search request for user attributes can be sent to a second directory service with the global identifier. The second directory service can query for the global identifier and send back user attributes.

With each added or removed ingredient, a set of descriptors may be updated. The descriptors may include numerical values of beer parameters as well as textual descriptions and visual descriptions. The system may allow a user to start with a desired beer style, and the parameters may show variances from the selected style. The system may generate an ingredients list, as well as a brewing recipe that may be transferred to a controller for a beer making machine. The system may adjust certain parameters that are controllable by the beer making machine to make flavor and other adjustments selected by a user.

Abstract: Examples described herein generally relate to a computer device including a memory, and at least one processor configured to partition application files for multiple users of the computer device. The computer device creates a per-user location for a first user when installing an application package to an installation location. The application package includes a plurality of files for an application that are read-only for the first user. The computer device projects, via one or more filter drivers, installed package files from the installation location into the per-user location. The computer device receives a modification to the plurality of files for the application projected into the per-user location. The computer device writes at least one modified file into the per-user location. Abstract: A quantum computing device comprises a surface code lattice that includes l logical qubits, where l is a positive integer. The surface code lattice is partitioned into two or more regions based on lattice geometry. A compression engine is coupled to each logical qubit of the l logical qubits. Each compression engine is configured to compress syndrome data generated by the surface code lattice using a geometry-based compression scheme. A decompression engine is coupled to each compression engine. Each decompression engine is configured to receive compressed syndrome data, decompress the received compressed syndrome data, and route the decompressed syndrome data to a decoder block.

Abstract: The proper visualization of a business process plays a key role in analyzing, changing, simulating and monitoring the business process. Most BPMS systems today, provide a modeling environment where the business user can define and visualize business processes as BPMN diagrams. Some more advanced systems (such as Sawion Business Manager) enable monitoring of the business process at run-time via a color-coded view of the process diagram. While process diagram is an important view of the process, it lacks the level of abstraction needed to provide information in an optimal way to the business users. The proposed visualization, called the 360 degree view provides an optimal view of a business process without losing important details about the process.
