Abstract: Disclosed is a computer-based multisensory tutorial that collects vocal data and tactile input data from a user related to a target presented by a GUI, the target comprising a phoneme, grapheme, letter, word; determines if the collected data exceeds or fails to meet a threshold value associated with the target; and provides a correction prompt visible or audible to a user if the input does not meet the threshold. A typical user of the tutorial may be a student (child or adult) in an educational setting, but use is not intended to be limited thereto. The multisensory tutorial may be configured for a plurality of languages. A multisensory tutorial configured device comprises one or more tutorial software modules, a GUI lesson screen, and a plurality of integrated lessons based on an Ortin-Gillingham plus program (for example one chosen between lessons 20 and 50), but is not limited thereto.
Abstract: An agricultural harvester includes a controller configured to receive at least one wing angle signal indicative of an angle at least one wing with respect to a center section of a header. The controller is also configured to receive a wing height position signal indicative of a distance between the at least one wing and a soil surface, determine whether the angle of the at least one wing exceeds an angle limit threshold based at least in part on the wing angle signal, and output a tilt signal to a tilt actuator in response to determining the angle of the wing exceeds the angle limit threshold. The tilt signal is indicative of instructions to maintain the distance between the at least one wing and the soil surface within a target distance threshold.
Abstract: Virtual site inspections to support clinical trials is disclosed. A frame and glasses subsystem has at least a global positioning system (GPS) and is associated with a first computing device at a physical site where an inspection is conducted. A session is opened in a web-based application on a second communication device that is in communication with, but that is physically remote from, the first computing device. Location tracking using GPS allows for a location of the frame and glasses subsystem to be continuously tracked. A script from the web-based application to the first computing device enables association with a video stream and locations within the physical site. The script enables responses to be provided from the first computing device at the locations. The locations, time stamps, video stream, the responses from the script, and a device identifier is provided immutably to the web-based application.
Abstract: Solid-state batteries, battery components, and related processes for their production are provided. The battery electrodes or separators contain sintered electrochemically active material, inorganic solid particulate electrolyte having large particle size, and low melting point solid inorganic electrolyte which acts as a binder and/or a sintering aid in the electrode.

Abstract: A system and method for digital processing including a gain element to process an input audio signal, a high pass filter to then filter the signal and create a high pass signal, a first filter module to filter the high pass signal and create a first filtered signal and a splitter to split the high pass signal into two high pass signals. The first filter module filters one high pass signals before a first compressor modulates the signal or a high pass signal to create a modulated signal. A second filter module filters the modulated signal to create a second filtered signal that is processed by a first processing module including a band splitter that splits the signal into low and high band signals that are then modulated by compressors. A second processing module processes the modulated low and high band signals to create an output signal.

Abstract: A method and a device for detecting substances and their concentrations in a mixture using magnetic resonance, containing one or more markers deposited on a surface of a carrier in contact with the mixture, wherein the marker is a substance that through intermolecular interactions causes a predetermined orientation of molecules for at least one of the mixture components.
Abstract: A base of a food processing system (20) includes at least one attachment (30) selectively receivable by a base (22). The base (22) includes an attachment mounting area (42) disposed with the base (22) to selectively receive the attachment (30). The attachment mounting area (42) includes a drive coupler (26) for applying a pull down force to the attachment (30). A motor is disposed with the base (22). A motor activation assembly (70) is associated with the attachment mounting area (42) and the motor. The motor is rendered operable via a vertical force applied to the motor activation assembly (70) when the attachment mounting area (42) receives the attachment (30).

Abstract: A response to a first query related to a geographic area, and search results responsive to a second query related to the geographic area, are received from a server system. A digital map of the geographic is provided via a user interface. A focus is provided to the first query to illustrate the response on the digital map, where the response defines a geographic context. A subset of the search results is identified based on a relationship to the geographic context. The search results in the identified subset are visually emphasized on the digital map relative to the rest of the search results.

Abstract: LED devices and methods of operating LED devices are described. An LED device includes a light-emitting element, a wavelength converting layer and a dichroic mirror. The light-emitting element is configured to emit ultra violet, visible, or ultra violet and visible light. The wavelength converting layer is configured to absorb at least a portion of the light emitted by the light-emitting element and in response emit infrared light. The dichroic mirror transmits the infrared light emitted by the wavelength converting layer, reflects the light emitted by the light emitting element, and is arranged to reflect back into the wavelength converting layer light emitted by the light emitting element, transmitted unabsorbed through the wavelength converting layer, and incident on the dichroic mirror.
