Abstract: Techniques are provided for system operational analytics using additional features over time-series counters for health score computation. An exemplary method comprises: obtaining log data from data sources of a monitored system; applying a counting function to the log data to obtain time-series counters for a plurality of distinct features within the log data; applying an additional function to the time-series counters for the plurality of distinct features; and processing an output of the additional function using a machine learning model to obtain a health score for the monitored system based on the output of the additional function.
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for controlling a vehicle engine to adjust exhaust warm-up strategy based on a vehicle network information. In one example, in response to an expected decrease in temperature of a catalyst of a vehicle below a threshold and an estimated duration thereof based on communications external from the vehicle, a method may include delaying catalyst heating actions, when the catalyst heating actions are determined to be unable to heat up the catalyst to threshold temperatures. However, the catalyst heating actions may be enabled when the catalyst heating actions are determined to be able to achieve the threshold temperature within the duration.

Abstract: An intelligent television can provide various interfaces for navigating processes associated with providing content. The user interfaces include unique visual representations and organizations that allow the user to utilize the intelligent television more easily and more effectively. Particularly, the user interfaces pertain to the display of media content, electronic programming guide information, television content, and other content. Further, the user interfaces provide unique process of transitioning between the content.
Abstract: A data processing device includes a cache. The cache stores data. The data processing device also includes a cache manager. The cache manager monitors use of the cache to obtain cache use data. The cache manager identifies a slot allocation of the cache. The cache manager generates a new slot allocation based on the cache use data and the slot allocation. The cache manager reformats the cache based on the new slot allocation to obtain an updated cache.

Abstract: Generating and validating a subscription key based on subscription parameters associated with a jurisdiction file stored in a NVRAM, the subscription key having characters based on a subscription start date, a subscription term, a key generation date, and a cyclical redundancy check value. Parameters are extracted from the subscription key including the subscription start date, the subscription term, the key generation date, and the cyclical redundancy check value and are stored in a memory of the gaming machine. The key is checked by generating a local cyclical redundancy check value based on a MAC address of the gaming machine and one or more of the extracted parameters, and is validated when the local cyclical redundancy check value matches the cyclical redundancy check value extracted from the subscription key. The jurisdiction file may be updated during a RAM clear function during installation of the gaming machine.

Abstract: A method of forming a shipping container includes mixing paper fibers with a binder fiber to form a mixture; disposing the mixture onto a surface to form a layer of the mixture; applying heat to form a paper fiber batt from the mixture having a fixed width and fixed length; and inserting the paper fiber batt within an interior of a corrugated box.
Abstract: Fiber optic connectors, connector assemblies, and associated methods having tuning features and aspects. The tuning features/aspects allow for a tuning mechanism of a rear housing to be moved axially between an anti-rotation region and a tuning chamber defined by a front housing. The rear housing is rotationally coupled to a ferrule assembly for tuning an optical fiber terminated at the ferrule assembly.

Abstract: A constant velocity joint assembly includes an outer race having a first bore defined by an inner surface of the outer race. A ball cage has an outer surface and a second bore defined by an inner surface of the ball cage. The ball cage is axially received in the first bore of the outer race. At least one of the inner surface of the outer race or the inner surface the ball cage includes a first portion having a cylindrical contour and a second portion having a spherical contour.
Abstract: A buttstock for a rifle has one or two longitudinal slots into which spare ammunition magazines may be inserted, stored, carried, and available for optional use in either a rifle or a pistol configured to receive the ammunition magazine. When fully inserted into a longitudinal slot, the magazine is fully enclosed within the buttstock except for the bottom surface of the magazine, which is approximately flush with the rear surface of the buttstock. One model of the buttstock may hold a single magazine, while another may hold two magazines, where the magazine slots are configured in an over-under arrangement.
Abstract: An expandable accessory for attachment to a mobile electronic device. The expandable accessory includes a base, a membrane, and a button coupled to the membrane opposite the base. The membrane includes a plurality of linear wall segments. The membrane is movable between a collapsed position and an expanded position, and when the membrane is in the expanded position, the plurality of linear wall segments are arranged in a common conical plane.
