Abstract: In an implementation, a presentation program includes a hotspot feature that allows a point in a slide to be designated as a hotspot. Supplemental content may then be associated with the hotspot such that, when the hotspot is invoked in a slide presentation, the supplemental content is surfaced.

Abstract: A deep neural network (DNN) processor is configured to execute layer descriptors in layer descriptor lists. The descriptors define instructions for performing a forward pass of a DNN by the DNN processor. The layer descriptors can also be utilized to manage the flow of descriptors through the DNN module. For example, layer descriptors can define dependencies upon other descriptors. Descriptors defining a dependency will not execute until the descriptors upon which they are dependent have completed. Layer descriptors can also define a “fence,” or barrier, function that can be used to prevent the processing of upstream layer descriptors until the processing of all downstream layer descriptors is complete. The fence bit guarantees that there are no other layer descriptors in the DNN processing pipeline before the layer descriptor that has the fence to be asserted is processed.

Abstract: Implementations generally relate to locking a camera onto a sub-region to capture images of the sub-region with a moving camera. In some implementations, a method includes determining a first region in a scene detected by a camera while the camera is in a first physical position. The method further includes receiving user input to target a sub-region within the first capture region of the scene and capturing the first image of the sub-region while the camera is in the first physical position. The first image is displayed in a fixed orientation on a preview portion of a display screen. The camera is moved to a second physical position and a second capture region of the scene is detected. The method further includes capturing a second image is of the sub-region and displaying it in the fixed orientation on the preview portion of the display screen. The second image is effective to inform a user of whether capture of the sub-region is altered by camera movement.

Abstract: Methods and systems for service integrated domain name servers are described. A method for service integrated domain name server processing includes receiving, by a requesting device, a service fully qualified domain name (FQDN) and an anycast Internet Protocol (IP) address for service integrated domain name servers, where each service integrated domain name server includes the anycast IP address and a unicast IP address. The requesting device queries domain name servers on the service integrated domain name servers with the anycast IP address to resolve the service FQDN. The requesting device receives the unicast IP address from a closest service integrated domain name server. The requesting device saves the unicast IP address, sends to a service server on the closest service integrated domain name server, a service request on the unicast IP address and receives from the service server, results for the service request.

Abstract: A drive circuit is disclosed. The drive circuit includes a high-side switch coupled between a power supply and an inductive load, and a low-side switch coupled between the load and ground. A current sense device is connected in series with the high-side switch, the low-side switch and the load. A control circuit controls the high-side and low-side switches. The control circuit further includes an input coupled to an output of the current sense device, and is configured to selectively provide a current path between the first and second terminals of the inductive load based upon the output of the current sense device. The current path is provided when an overcurrent condition exists, and dissipates energy stored in the inductive load in response to the overcurrent condition.

Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method may include transmitting a first signal by a first antenna element included in a head mounted display system, analyzing the second signal to determine multidimensional data for the second signal, comparing the multidimensional data for the second signal to known multidimensional data related to positions of a gaze of an eye of a user in the head mounted display system, identifying a position of a gaze for an eye of a user in the head mounted display system based on the comparison, and adjusting image data for display on a display device included in the head mounted display system based on the identified position of the gaze of the eye of the user. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

Abstract: An ice-making container having a base and a freestanding side extending from the base to define a mouth opposite the base, and having a divider extending from the base and/or freestanding side so as to divide the container into at least two ice-making compartments. The container is a closable container via zipper members extending from the interior sides of the mouth, wherein the mouth is deformable between open and closed configurations and the first and second zipper members are disengagable when the mouth is open and engagable when the mouth is closed. The container may be molded from platinum silicone as a unitary whole without assembled parts. The molding process may comprise liquid injection molding, compression molding, or transfer molding.

Abstract: The invention includes apparatus and methods for a novel modular self-returning batting tee. In one preferred embodiment, a modular self-returning batting tee may have one or more extension arms that are compatible with a variety of different batting attachments and/or aids, and may further be secured to a receiver tube positioned within a flexible boot. This receiver tube may be coupled with a weighted base through a novel recoil joint. In this embodiment, when the tee is struck, such as may occur during batting practice, the extension arm may bend forward engaging the flexible boot and/or novel recoil joint and causing the extension arm to self-return to a pre-determined position.

Abstract: A locking device for an exercise system may include a locking member having a contact portion and configured to move between a first position and a second position. When in the first position, the contact portion of the locking member is not in mechanical communication with the resistance mechanism of the exercise system, thereby allowing movement of the at least one moveable assembly. When in the second position, the contact portion of the locking member is in mechanical communication with the resistance mechanism of the exercise system, thereby preventing movement of the at least one moveable assembly.

Abstract: Representative embodiments disclose mechanisms for data and identity migration, such as from an on-premises environment to a cloud environment. The system comprises multiple data collectors, each tailored to collect data from a data source. In a representative example, data collectors for a source application, a source identity repository and a target identity repository are utilized. Once the data is collected, it is stored in a database and methods are used to identify correlations (i.e., matches) between the source application data, the source identity repository data and the target identity repository data. The correlations are memorialized and presented to a user for rationalization. The process is stateful so that prior decisions are remembered. Once the user is satisfied with the rationalization, the system exports files that are consumed by a migration process to perform the actual data migration.

Abstract: Technologies are described for selective persistence of data utilized by software containers. A configuration policy is defined that includes data that specifies one or more data stores for which data is not to be persisted following accesses to a software container and one or more data stores for which data is to be persisted following accesses to the software container. When the software container is first accessed, the data stores identified in the configuration policy are attached to the software container. Upon a subsequent access to the container, such as at the conclusion of a user session or upon destruction of the container, the data in the attached data stores is persisted or deleted based upon the configuration policy. When the software container is once again accessed, the data store containing the persisted data can be re-attached to the software container.

Abstract: A software and/or data mobility platform. The mobility of software and data in an edge network is achieved by loading software and/or data on an edge node. The software and data are replicated or migrated to neighbor nodes and prepared for the device when the device switches nodes. As the device switched nodes, clean up or mobility operations are performed by replicating or migrating the software/data to new neighbor nodes and deleting or removing the software/data from nodes that are no longer considered to be neighbor nodes. The software is typically deployed to the mobility platform rather than directly to the nodes to allow developers to focus on their application rather than on the mobility of the application.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for a dual loop coolant system used to control an engine temperature. In one example, cooling capacity is transferred from a low temperature loop to a heat exchanger, and cooling capacity stored in the heat exchanger is transferred to a high temperature loop (e.g., an engine coolant loop). The flow of coolant from the dual loop coolant system to the heat exchanger may be regulated responsive to a temperature of the coolant in each of the low temperature loop and the high temperature loop.

Abstract: A virtual network comprising virtual machines executing at a computing environment is implemented. A software defined networking (SDN) appliance is configured to provide a connection to computing resources via a virtual network of a virtual computing environment. The SDN appliance is configured to apply policies of the virtual computing environment to data traffic on the virtual network. The SDN appliance is operable to interact with multiple network devices that are configured to act as a hardware acceleration device for processing data traffic. Virtual addresses are assigned to the network devices. The SDN appliance executes a virtual switch configured to identify data traffic sent to or received from a host and act as a proxy for the network devices and respond on their behalf.

Abstract: An illustrative fuel delivery system for an engine can include a fuel type indicator device and a flow management device. The flow management device can be configured to receive fuel from an auxiliary fuel tank and to direct it based on the type of fuel in the auxiliary fuel tank. If the type of fuel in the auxiliary fuel tank is a primary fuel type (such as diesel or gasoline), the flow management device can deliver the primary fuel to a piston cylinder of the engine. If the type of fuel in the auxiliary fuel tank is an auxiliary fuel (such as a mixture of ethanol and water the flow management device can deliver the auxiliary fuel to an air intake system of the engine.

Abstract: A method and system for treating tissue with a combined therapy profile is disclosed. In one exemplary embodiment, ultrasound energy is used to treat numerous depths of tissue within a region of interest and the spatial and temporal properties of the ultrasound energy are varied for more effective treatment. The method and system of the present invention are configured to treat all of the tissue from the surface on down and not spare intervening tissue.
