  • Publication number: 20100291885
Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a multimode polar modulation device and a multimode radio communication method for making it possible to decrease the distortion compensation processing data capacity while maintaining the distortion compensation accuracy and also making it possible to efficiently store the distortion compensation processing data corresponding to a multimode modulation signal adaptively acquired in memory. At the distortion compensation coefficient calibration operation time of a polar modulation circuit 1901, a control section 1903 selects a modulation signal with a narrower dynamic range of amplitude signal than at the transmission operation time, an adaptive operation control section 1711 measures a spectrum in output of a power amplifier 1 for each predetermined output level, and a distortion compensation processing circuit 1701 finds optimum coefficient information.

  • Publication number: 20100290543
Abstract: A radio transmitting apparatus wherein when both a first data and a second data, which has a greater importance than the first data, are placed in a single block, the BER characteristic of the second data can be well maintained. In this apparatus, a modulating part (101-1) modulates a first data sequence to generate a first data symbol, while a modulating part (101-2) modulates a second data sequence to generate a second data symbol. A placing part (102) places both the first data symbol and the second data sequence in each of blocks constituting a single carrier signal. At this moment, the placing part (102) places, in the single block, the first data at both ends of the block, while placing the second data, which has the greater importance than the first data, at the center of the block. A CP adding part (103) adds, to the head of the block in which the first and second data symbols are placed, a rear end portion of that block as CP.

Abstract: In a mobile terminal device that executes a function setting by using a memory card, when insertion/removal of the same memory card are repeated, an original function setting can be restored automatically to omit a resetting and also the user's operational burden can be lessened. The volume number is read from an inserted memory card 10 and stored in a volume number storing portion 13, and also a particular JPEG image file stored in the memory card 10 is read and a wallpaper setting is done by a function setting controlling portion 16. Also, function setting information is stored in a function setting information storing portion 15 to be linked with the volume number stored in the volume number storing portion 13. Then, when the memory card 10 is inserted and removed, a status decision processing portion 14 reads the volume number and compares this number with the volume number stored in the volume number storing portion 13.

  • Publication number: 20100279603
Abstract: A relay transmission method for communication between a base station and a mobile station via a relay station while producing a diversity effect even if the relay station detects an error in the relay signal. A decoding section (104) of the relay station used in this method performs error-correction decoding of a systematic bit by using a parity bit by repetition decoding such as turbo decoding and acquires the results of the decoding composed of the systematic bit having undergone the error-correction decoding. An error judging section (105) judges whether or not any error is present in the decoding results. Coding section (106) performs error-correction coding of the decoding results and acquires the error-correction coded systematic bit and parity bit.

  • Publication number: 20100262039
Abstract: A blood test apparatus having a simple constitution whereby stable measurement can be conducted by surely sampling the blood in an amount being small but sufficient for the test without placing too much burden on a patient. When a first skin contact sensor of this apparatus detects the skin, driving of a negative pressure unit is initiated (time point 166a). Thus, the skin rises and comes into contact with a second skin contact sensor (time point 166b). After piercing into the skin at time point 166c, the negative pressure supply is once ceased. Next, the negative pressure is applied again at time point 166d for a definite period of time. Thus, the opening in the skin is broadened, which facilitates the flow out of the blood (16).
