Abstract: Methods and systems for providing multiple audio streams, such as, for example, those audio streams that may be available in a public venue, are presented. An example system may include a plurality of audio relay devices and an access device. Each of the audio relay devices may receive an audio signal corresponding to video content being presented by a video presentation device, and transmit a digital audio stream representing the audio signal to the access device. The access device may receive each of the transmitted digital audio streams from the plurality of audio relay devices and transmit wirelessly the received digital audio streams to a mobile communication device.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing a communication node for venue-oriented communications are presented. An example system may include a network interface, at least one processor, and memory storing modules including instructions for execution by the processor. The network interface may be communicatively coupled with a wireless access device in communication with a mobile communication device. The wireless access device and the mobile communication device are located at a venue. At least one of the modules provides a venue-oriented service to the mobile communication device via the wireless access device.

The access device may be located at a commercial venue and communicatively coupled via a local area network with a mobile communication device located at the venue. The communication node may be communicatively coupled to the access device via a wide area network to provide a commercial service related to the commercial venue to a user of the mobile communication device. The access device may exchange information relating to the commercial service between the communication node and the mobile communication device.

Abstract: Methods and systems associated with a mobile device for venue-oriented communications are presented. An example mobile communication device may include a wireless transceiver, a user interface, and control logic. The wireless transceiver may receive a plurality of digital audio streams from an access device located at a venue. The user interface may receive a selection of one of the digital audio streams from a user of the mobile communication device. The control logic includes a channel selection module that may generate an audio signal representing the selected one of the digital audio streams. The user interface may provide the generated audio signal for presentation to the user.

Abstract: The systems, methods, means, and computer program products disclosed herein provide a framework and tools for creating composite services from the array of services available as distributed, loosely structured, ad hoc, remote programming interfaces on the Internet. The framework includes metaservices for coordinating the execution of multiple services in a composite service, and also provides core services such as database management, security, financial transactions, media conversion, and so forth, to provide greater design latitude in the creation of new composite services from existing Internet content and services. Abstract: A variety of tools and techniques are disclosed for managing, viewing, publishing, searching, clustering, and otherwise manipulating data streams. Data streams such as RSS data feeds may be searched, aggregated, and filtered into a processed feed. The processed feed, along with rules used to process the feed may be shared in a number of ways. A data feed management system may provide an integrated user interface through which a user may manage feeds, including searching for new feeds, managing and filtering current feeds, modifying a user profile, and sharing feeds and feed configuration data with other users. A server may provide a complementary search engine to locate new feeds and to store and/or index items or posts in known feeds. Together, these technologies may provide a richly-functioned feed management system and greater ease of use for individuals in managing large numbers of feeds and large amounts of data in feeds.

Abstract: A live TV broadcast method of digital interactive TV, which enables the whole network to share one set of CMTS for independent live broadcast: CMTS of each hub head-end is used for on-demand broadcast; Cable Modem aims to receive directives from users to seek downlink frequency corresponding to the IP address according to frequency IP list stored with IP addresses and downlink frequencies for advanced multicast. After that, data flow shall be sent to users through bridging by Cable Modem. As Cable Modem can directly perform the switchover, there is no need to use CMTS to receive uplink data. This is favorable for significant reduction of afflux of various interferences signals and off-line of Cable Mode, which can ensure normal and stable broadcast of programs in case of off-line.
