Abstract: A navigation system includes a storage module, a positioning module, a time module, and an integration module. The integration module is electrically connected to the storage module, the positioning module and the time module, and compares a navigation keyword with a plurality of landmark names of a map data stored in the storage module. When at least one of the landmark names is found to be partially or completely the same as the navigation keyword and is currently in opening hours, the integration module selects one of these landmark names and creates a navigation path directed to the selected landmark name based on the orientation data of the selected landmark name, positioning information output by the positioning module, and time information output by the time module. A navigation method implemented based on the above navigation system is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7929025
Abstract: The present invention discloses an automatic white balance control system, an automatic white balance module, and a method thereof. The automatic white balance (AWB) control system calculates a distance value from a coordinate related to the image to a reference point in a color space coordinate system for each image. If the median or mean of the distance values is greater than a threshold value, an automatic white balance operation will be performed. The system dynamically adjusts the threshold value to prevent a blinking caused by the automatic white balance. The white balance module selects an image block of a higher image sharpness to perform a gain adjustment to prevent a monochromatic block from misjudging a white balance gain.

  • Patent number: 7881363
Abstract: A data transmission rate adjustment system and method thereof comprise a driving module and a control module. The driving module performs a predetermined mathematical calculation based on a transmission rate request to generate a divisor. The control module then performs a division that divides a reference frequency by the divisor to generate a first transmission rate so that a data receiving terminal can receive data sent from a data sending terminal through the driving module based on the first transmission rate. The driving module monitors a transmission error rate of the data received by the data receiving terminal. If the transmission error rate exceeds a predetermined value, the divisor is automatically adjusted to generate a second transmission rate. The second transmission rate is also provided to replace the first transmission rate.
