    Abstract: A resin composition for an electrophotographic toner is here disclosed which comprises an ethylene series high polymer (Y) and an ethylene series polymer (X) prepared from 100 parts of a bifunctional ethylene series unsaturated monomer and 0.01-10 parts by weight of a substance having three or more peroxide groups in the molecule and/or a substance having one or more unsaturated functional groups and one or more peroxide groups in the molecule, Mw/Mb (Mw is weight-average molecular weight, and Mb is weight-average molecular weight between crosslinking points) of said polymer (X) being from 2 to 99, Mw of said polymer (X) being 50,000 or less. This resin composition is excellent in the balance of various physical properties required for the toner, and particularly, it is excellent in offset resistance and toner strength.

    Abstract: An optical information recording medium is here disclosed which comprises a transparent substrate, a recording layer comprising an organic dyestuff on which information can be written by a laser beam, a reflective layer and a protective layer formed in this order on the substrate, the aforesaid optical information recording medium being characterized by containing a pit.edge control agent for the formation of recording pits, particularly a dyestuff thermal decomposition accelerator in the recording layer. By the addition of the pit.edge control agent, deviation properties and jitter properties can be remarkably improved, whereby a CD-R medium having a low error rate and good recording properties can be provided. In consequence, stable compatibility with a commercial CD player can be secured.

The optical recording medium exhibits an excellent adhesion strength of the protective layer even when stood under high humidity and high temperature conditions for a long period of time, and the protective layer is not peeled off when subjected to a tape peeling test.

    Abstract: A colored styrenic resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a styrenic resin, 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of titanium oxide and 0.05 to 2.5 parts by weight of an organo-tin compound and in which the amount of the organo-tin compound is not less than 10% by weight on the basis of the amount of the titanium oxide. The resin composition ensures the production of injection-molded articles free of black streaks and, therefore, the articles formed from the resin composition of the invention have high commercial value. The colored styrenic resin composition is useful as a material for the production of housings of, for example, a variety of electric appliances and office machinery and equipment as well as miscellaneous goods.
