Abstract: A system and a method for mounting a speaker unit (12). The system (12) containing a surface mounting bracket (14) including at least one attaching feature (20) and a speaker unit (12). The speaker unit (12) comprises at least one audio speaker (42) and a semi-circular shaped surface (41). The shaped surface (41) defines a plurality of angularly spaced apart receiving features (44). The plurality of angularly spaced apart receiving features (44) are adapted for removably engaging said at least one attaching feature (20). In another embodiment, a speaker mounting system (10) contains a detachable base stand (60) having at least one base attaching feature (62) and a speaker unit (12) defines a plurality of angularly spaced apart receiving features (44). The plurality of angularly spaced apart receiving features (44) are adapted for removably engaging said at least one base attaching feature (62).
Abstract: Action seating receives a wireless signal from source equipment and integrated control and generation of motion. The wireless signal is derived from audio and/or visual presentations including music, television, movies, training systems, video games, and the like. The wireless signal may be provided using an Infra Red (IR) link, Radio Frequency (RF) link, or signal superimposed on home power wiring to transmit a signal from the source equipment to the action seating. The integrated control may control, for example, absolute or relative levels of motion. In one embodiment, a concealable control panel deploys from an armrest, which control panel may include a display providing control parameter information.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for a power center for electronic components. The power center comprises a power conditioning unit and a power display console. The power conditioning unit may include a first body having a first connecting means and a power display console may include a second body having a second connecting means. The first connecting means may be adapted to mechanically cooperate with second connecting means thereby permitting the unit and the console to be removably attached and de-attached. As such, the console may be positioned to facilitate viewing by a user, and the conditioning unit may be positioned for convenient electrical connection for electronic components.
Abstract: An audio power display provides a signal and an update rate. An audio power monitoring system comprises a digital display unit including at least one light-emitting display element and a rapid update rate. The digital display unit displays signal levels at the rapid update rate to emphasize the dynamic nature of music. In one embodiment, the display update rate is varied to increase proportionally to increases in signal level, and decrease proportionally to decreases in signal level to further represent the dynamic nature of music.
Abstract: A single-phase apparatus and method for protecting for all AC power wires/lines and combinations thereof. The present invention prevents (1) the hazardous condition occurring at the wall receptacle, arising from accidental reversal of the line wire with the neutral wire, from adversely affecting at least one peripheral device in the line, and (2) the overheating and destruction of components in an over-voltage protection circuit by providing an efficient circuit configuration which assures a rapid simultaneous disconnect of both the hot line and neutral power lines. The present invention achieves this by opening the circuit to simultaneously disconnect both line and neutral power lines feeding a load when the over-voltage event occurs in any of three wire pairings: line-to-neutral, line-to-ground, or neutral-to-ground.
