  • Patent number: 6234649
Abstract: An electric lamp device which is capable of suppressing obstruction light toward the sky even if being used as a garden light or the like as well as a common lighting electric lamp. In the electric lamp device comprising an envelope and a small-sized light-emitting element assembly, an open end of a globe is coupled to a globe connection opening of a base body to constitute the envelope, and the small-sized light-emitting element assembly, such as a set of baseless small-sized electric lamps connected in series to each other, is housed within this envelope, and additionally, a louver including ring-like louver components is put within the envelope surrounding the small-sized light-emitting element assembly. Further, when needed, an attachment is fixed in the globe connection opening of the base body. The louver is mounted on this attachment. The attachment is composed of a plate section, a light-emitting element mounting section, and a support standing section.

  • Patent number: 6153972
Abstract: A globe (11) and a substrate (12) form an outer shell (1). In the outer shell (1), there is arranged an attachment (3) having an electric lamp mount (32) and a support stand part (33). In the electric lamp mount (32) of the attachment (3), there is arranged a serially connected body of no-base type small electric lamps (4), and at the support stand part (33), there is arranged a support body (5). The serially connected body of no-base type small electric lamps (4) has a plurality of no-base type small electric lamps (51) and conductors (52) for serially connecting these no-base type small electric lamps (51), is composed by gathering these plurality of no-base type small electric lamps (51). The support body (5) supports the serially connected body of no-base type small electric lamps (4).

  • Patent number: 6132069
Abstract: An embedded type lighting device is formed by assembling a light body to the light body mounting base which is to be mounted to a fitting face. The light body provides the lamp structure made of a plastic material, the lamp socket, and the connector for electrical connection and mechanical connection to the light body mounting base. The light body mounting base includes a base structure made of a plastic material, a terminal block, and connection means for receiving, electrically connecting and mechanically supporting the connector of the light body. The light body is connected both electrically and mechanically to the light body mounting base by the connector. Yet, it is possible to omit a special insulation structure with regard to the terminal and the connection means by making the light body structure and the base structure of a plastic material. Thus the workability of the light body is improved and the construction of both the light body and the light body mounting base is simplified.

  • Patent number: 6095660
Abstract: The present invention relates to a fixture to be mounted in a mounting hole in a ceiling or the like and an attachment device of said fixture, wherein said fixture is provided with an electrical connection means and a mechanical stopping means, the electrical connection means including a power supply port that can be connected by a simple operation, and the mechanical stopping means capable of removably fixing a heavy and elongated fixture in the mounting hole, so that, when the fixture is mounted in the mounting hole, both electrical and mechanical connection is simultaneously done. By an integrated design of the fixture wherein the back of the mounting hole (a space behind the ceiling panel or the like) is used as a housing space for a lighting circuit member, etc., the fixture can be made more compact with an improved design flexibility, and changes and movements of fixtures with respect to the mounting hole become possible.
