    Abstract: In aspects of determining blocked wireless communication between devices, a mobile device wirelessly communicates with a wireless device. The mobile device can receive partial data or no data from the wireless device responsive to the wireless communication. The mobile device activates sensors to obtain sensor data based on receiving the partial or no data from the wireless device. The mobile device can then determine whether an object is positioned or located between the mobile device and the wireless device based on the sensor data, and determine that the object is likely blocking the wireless communication based on the object being positioned or located between the devices. The mobile device can then display a notification that the wireless communication is being blocked based on the determination that the object is likely blocking the wireless communication.

Listen before talk can be performed on the unlicensed carrier to determine an earliest unoccupied subframe in the set of subframes. A physical uplink shared channel can be transmitted in multiple subframes within the set of subframes on the unlicensed carrier, starting with the earliest unoccupied subframe, in response to receiving the grant.

The mobile device implements a profile module to initiate the scan for the location data responsive to motion of the mobile device, and can determine from the location data, location coordinates corresponding to locations of the mobile device before and after the scan. The profile module can determine gesture profiles of gestures corresponding to a location of the mobile device, identify the gestures that occur at the location of the mobile device based on the determined gesture profiles, and correlate the identified gestures of the gesture profiles with the location of the mobile device.

The method includes identifying a number of peer devices located within communication range of a first device and that are capable of communicating via the NAN. A master rank value associated with a corresponding peer device is retrieved from each received response. A first master rank value is calculated for the first device, at least partially based on the number of responding peer devices. The first master rank value is compared with the received master rank values of the responding peer devices. In response to the first master rank value being greater than each of the received master rank values, the first device assumes a role of a master device within a NAN cluster that includes the first device and the responding peer devices.

When an image captured by the particular camera subsystem is encoded, a table class is selected based on camera subsystem parameters associated with the image, and the Huffman table and the quantization table of the selected table class are utilized to encode the image.

While displaying the computer-generated graphics, the simulated reality device detects a real world object, such as by detecting the real world object is within a predetermined distance of the simulated reality device and/or by detecting the real world object is moving in one or more directions. Upon detecting the real world object, various implementations of the simulated reality device modify the computer-generated graphics to display a notification of the real world object.
