  • Patent number: 7809466
Abstract: In the case of transporting an article to a load port which is occupied by another article, at the time of generating a transportation command, estimated arrival time T1 when the article arrives at the load port and estimated removal time T2 when the article which occupies the load port is removed are compared with each other. If the time T2 is earlier than the time T1, a transportation command for transporting the article to the load port is assigned. If the time t2 is later than the time T1, a transportation command for transporting the article to a buffer on the upstream side of the load port is assigned.

  • Patent number: 7791768
Abstract: An image scanning device with a time authentication requesting function enables documents, not subject to be converted into e-documents, to be easily converted into e-documents at a later date, and reduces costs required for assigning a timestamp. When a user instructs an account book e-document temporary scan, an original is scanned and stored. An account book temporary file name is assigned to the scanned original, and stored in an account book temporary folder. When the user instructs an estimate e-document temporary scan or a purchase order e-document temporary scan, scanned data of the original is assigned with a file name and stored in a temporary folder of each document type. Documents not subject to be converted into e-documents are stored under the same format as the e-document, and a timestamp is assigned collectively to necessary documents at a later date. Accordingly, costs required for the timestamp can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 7778184
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a technique capable of promptly and efficiently starting a communication processing when a demand is generated, in a communication system including a terminal for a non-continuous connection. A communication terminal and a device can be connected through a relay device, and when the communication terminal transmits a UDP packet to the device, the relay device receives the UDP packet and transmits a control signal to the device. The device makes a dial-up connection to establish a PPP session, and establishes a TCP connection with the relay device. By using this TCP connection, the communication terminal transmits an inspection instruction file to the device. The device conducts an inspection in accordance with the inspection instruction file, prepares an inspection result file, and returns it to the communication terminal. Then, the device disconnects the TCP connection, the PPP session, and the dial-up line network.

  • Patent number: 7770373
Abstract: The presence/absence of a core fiber in a core yarn is reliably detected to prevent production of a core fiber-free core yarn. In a method for producing a core yarn C by wrapping a fiber bundle S around a core fiber F, the core yarn C is spun with a core fiber F content being changed from that of normal spinning for a predetermined time period after the start of spinning, in order to detect whether the core fiber F is present. The core yarn C may be spun with a core fiber made of a drawn elastic yarn to detect whether the core fiber is present based on a thickness fluctuation of the core yarn that is caused by slackening the core yarn.

  • Patent number: 7764390
Abstract: An image forming device includes four operation modes: a copy mode, a fax mode, an e-mail mode and a scanner mode. The image forming device can set a processing content of each operation mode for each prescribed setting item. The image forming device includes a favorite keys group to which setting items selected from all setting items of all operation modes can be assigned. Setting items selected from all setting items of a particular operational mode can be assigned to a standby screen keys group included in a standby screen for that operational mode. A setting item not assigned to the standby screen keys group for a particular operational mode is assigned to a menu screen keys group for that operational mode. When detecting an operation performed on a key included in the favorite keys group, the standby screen keys group and the menu screen keys group, the image forming device performs a setting operation for the setting item assigned to the operated key.

  • Patent number: 7761752
Abstract: A facsimile machine receives image data from a facsimile machine of another end. A Random Access Memory (RAM) stores a measured average value and fluctuation of an Eye Quality Monitor (EQM) value of the image data, and a number of error lines of the image data as an EQM data table. In past facsimile communication, a main control unit receives a training signal from the facsimile machine of the other end, and executes a training process. The main control unit measures an average value and fluctuation of an EQM value of the training signal, and compares the measured average value and the fluctuation of the EQM value with the average value and the fluctuation of the EQM value stored in the EQM data table. When there is no match, the main control unit executes the training process again.

  • Patent number: 7755806
Abstract: An image communication device which transmits and receives image data through an IP network by using a call control protocol, and in particular, a facsimile machine which prevents a wrongful reception of the image data by spoofing by transmitting the image data after confirming that a connected destination is a true destination. Before establishing a media session by the SIP and transmitting image data, an image communication device of a transmitter transmits prescribed first text data to an image communication device of a recipient by the SIP method and receives text data from the image communication device of the recipient. When the received text data is prescribed second text data, the image communication device of the transmitter transmits the image data to the image communication device of the recipient.

  • Patent number: 7752880
Abstract: The present invention provides a linear motor mounted press machine that generate an optimum thrust for a press tonnage to perform different machining operations including one requiring a greater press tonnage and one requiring a high speed and a smaller press tonnage in an energy efficient manner. A linear motor mounted press machine includes a first linear motor 11, a second linear motor 12 that produces a thrust lower than or equivalent to that of the first linear motor 11, and a coupling switching mechanism 13 that releasably couples output shafts 30, 34 of the first and second linear motor 11, 12 together. A press tool 6 is driven forward and backward by the output shaft 34 of the second linear motor 12. Each of first and second linear motors 11, 12 is a unit linear motor assembly having a plurality of unit linear motors 15 arranged around a press working axis center P. The number of the unit linear motors 15 of the second linear motor 12 is the same as or smaller than that of the first linear motor 11.

  • Patent number: 7733508
Abstract: A microprocessor unit of a communication terminal device determines whether or not a destination terminal is a communication terminal manufactured by a same manufacturer as the communication terminal device in accordance with a manufacturer code transmitted from the destination terminal. A display unit displays a message to notify a determination result to a transmitter and to urge the transmitter to perform a selection operation for executing or canceling a transmission of image data. When the transmitter selects a function key displayed on the display unit in accordance with the message, the microprocessor unit executes or cancels the transmission of the image data.

  • Patent number: 7729821
Abstract: When dot-sequential data indicating a temporal variation in position, speed, or acceleration is stored in a memory in an automated guided vehicle as it is, the capacity of the memory is insufficient and thus needs to be increased. A pattern is mounted in a stacker crane 1; the pattern is drawn by dot-sequential data indicating a temporal variation in acceleration (FIG. 2C), and corresponds to an instruction value provided to an actuator installed in the stacker crane 1. In this case, a curve function corresponding to an approximate expression for the dot-sequential data is derived in a form of a Fourier series having a finite number of terms and using time as an independent variable and the position, speed, or acceleration as a dependent variable. Data identifying the Fourier series, having a finite number of terms, is stored in a memory 5 mounted in the stacker crane 1.

  • Patent number: 7720314
Abstract: An image processing device inputs shading correction data, which can identify the image processing device itself, to a first hash function and generates comparison data. The image processing device inputs the shading correction data to a second hash function, and generates tracing identification data. The image processing device generates a tracing pattern from the tracing identification data, and adds the tracing pattern to output image data. The image processing device verifies the comparison data with standard data, which has been generated by inputting the shading correction data in a first function and previously stored in a storage device. When the comparison data matches the standard data, the image processing device permits to print out the output image data to which the tracing pattern has been added.
