  • Patent number: 7477963
Abstract: A dog 10 is placed in front of each stop position 8 to notice an overhead running vehicle 20 that ID tag data is to be read. A bar code reader 24 reads the ID tag data to determine the stop position based on a mark reference. The absolute position of an overhead running vehicle 20 with respect to the mark 14 is determined. The overhead running vehicle 20 decelerates and stops at a target position. According to the present invention, the overhead running vehicle 20 can stop without creep running.

  • Patent number: 7464823
Abstract: A platform 12 is supported by four belts 22 to 25. Of the belts 22 to 25, a pair of belts 24, 25 is attached to a pivoting arm 26 so that the pivoting arm 26 is pivotable around a pivoting shaft 28. Pivoting of the pivoting arm 26 absorbs, for example, the difference in length between the belts 24, 25. The present invention makes it possible to simplify an elevate and lower driving mechanism of the platform 12 and to easily adjust the lengths of the belts 22 to 25. The present invention also makes it possible to prevent vibration during elevation or lowering and to allow the belts 22 to 25 to stand long use.

  • Patent number: 7466454
Abstract: An image processing device includes a pre-processing unit, an adder, a quantization unit, a post-processing unit and a surrounding error calculating unit. The pre-processing unit calculates an average pixel value of an aggregated pixel formed of a plurality of adjacent pixels for input image data. The adder calculates a correction average pixel value by adding a correction error value to an average pixel value of a target aggregated pixel to be a processing object. The quantization unit carries out a quantization processing of the correction average pixel value at a quantization level of a prescribed number. The post-processing unit divides the aggregated pixel into a plurality of pixels and allocates a pixel value corresponding to the quantization level to each of the divided pixels. The surrounding error calculating unit calculates a correction error value for processing a surrounding target aggregated pixel in accordance with a quantization error generated in the quantization processing.

Abstract: A client's secret key is Ki=(s+Ii)?1P where Ii is obtained by using a collision-resistant hash function h to process client IDs with respect to the secret numbers s and r and the parameters P and Q of a secret on an elliptic curve E. The session key Ks that encrypts the message m is Ks=enc(P,Q)rk and the header is constituted by H1=k ?i=1?N(s+Ii)R=k?i=0?NcisiR, H2=k(rP), S={I1,I2, . . . , IN}. The client restores the session key by means of A/B=en(P,Q)rk?j=1?N,j?iIj, (A/B)?j=1?N,j?iIj?1=Ks from A=en(Ki,H1)=en((s+Ii)?1P,k?i=1?N(s+Ii)R) and B=en(H2,?j=1?N,j?i(s+Ij)Q??j=1?N,j?iIjQ)=en(P,Q)rk?j=1?N,j?i Ij.

  • Patent number: 7454468
Abstract: A plurality of mail servers are registered along with a priority order, and normally, a mail server is selected in accordance with the priority order, and the electronic mail is transmitted. When a failure generates in the selected mail server, the electronic mail is transmitted by using a mail server of next in order. When failing in the transmission of the electronic mail via the selected mail server, it is determined whether to select a mail server of next in order, to establish a connection again with the mail server that was selected at the time of the failure in the transmission of the electronic mail, or to cancel the transmission, in accordance with contents of the failure. Since a plurality of mail servers can be used, even when a failure generates in a mail server, the electronic mail can be transmitted by using another mail server.
