Patents Assigned to National Conveyor Corporation
  • Patent number: 7204362
Abstract: An automatic tray repositioning device for automatically repositioning a tray that has been misaligned onto a rotating shelf. The invention includes a placement arm set partially within a housing, the arm connected to a vertically mounted motor. The motor is in communication with a detection system, such that when a portion of a tray is detected, the motor acts to immediately move the placement arm toward the tray, to gently reposition the tray back onto the shelf on which it sits.

  • Publication number: 20050126032
Abstract: An improved roller drying table turn corner is provided, which prevents dishracks from jamming as they traverse a turn on a roller drying table. The improved roller drying table turn corner may include a guiding rod having a cross-sectional shape that prevents the corner of the dishrack from catching thereon. In one embodiment, the guiding rod has a circular cross-sectional shape. In another embodiment, the guiding rod is offset a certain distance from the rollers. In another embodiment, additional rollers are provided along the outer half of the split roller section around the turn of the roller drying table turn corner.

  • Publication number: 20030199231
Abstract: A granule dishwashing apparatus with at least one removable granule collector and method of use. The dishwashing apparatus may include a treatment chamber, a tank, one or more granule collectors and one or more pumping devices. Soiled articles are placed in the treatment chamber to be washed with a mixture of liquid and granules that is sprayed at the articles under high pressure. The mixture falls toward the tank after impacting the articles, passing through the granule collector(s). A liquid only portion is separated from the mixture using the granule collector(s) so that the articles can be rinsed. At any point following a cleaning cycle, the granule collector(s) can be removed to add more granules and to simplify the cleaning of the apparatus. The granule collectors may be connected to actuators so that they can be placed in a release mode or a collect mode depending on the function desired.

Abstract: A granule dishwashing apparatus with easily removable granule collectors and method of use. The dishwashing apparatus consists primarily of a treatment chamber, a tank, one or more granule collectors and one or more pumping devices. Soiled articles are placed in the treatment chamber to be washed with a mixture consisting of liquid and granules that is sprayed at the articles under high pressure. The mixture falls toward the tank after impacting the articles, passing through the granule collector(s). A liquid only portion is separated from the mixture at some point using the granule collector(s) so that the articles can be rinsed. At any point following a cleaning cycle, the granule collector(s) can be removed to add more granules and to simplify the cleaning of the apparatus. In a multiple collector system, the granule collectors are connected to actuators so that the collectors can be placed in a release mode or a collect mode depending on the function desired.

  • Patent number: 4720008
Abstract: A conveyor assembly for use with conveyor belt systems of the type utilizing articulated links having downwardly extending opposed feet. The conveyor assembly includes a guide ramp for supporting the conveyor belt and guiding it to a drive sprocket. The guide ramp has a horizontal leading end and a downwardly inclined trailing end. The opposed feet of the conveyor belt are supported within a clearance between two sides of the guide ramp. Due to the incline on the ramp the drive sprocket may be lowered allowing implementation of a coverplate at the same height as the main, horizontal section of the conveyor belt. Use of this coverplate protects the operator and prevents items being transported on the conveyor belt from falling into the drive bed of the conveyor assembly.
